Will there be a better game than San Andreas this year/ever?

I must say that, as Rockstar said, the only way this will be a sucess is to surpass everyones expectations, and they've done that, taken it to the total limit. SA's main feature is the vastness and realism. Will Halo 2 beat it for the opposite reasons? I always thought it would, untill I played SA [yesterday;p]. Halo 2 is, at the end of the day, just a FPS. I dont think its possible to beat Halo 2 with a futuristic FPS, havent we seen so many of them before, so what can make it better, it can be more polished yes, but at the end of the day, there will be a set way to do things, and a set way they will happen. This is not the case with SA. What about Half-Life 2? I dunno.. I doubt it, sadly. I just dont think that, even with the best desigining, games like Halo 2 and Half-Life 2 can possibly be greater games than SA, because the randomness is what sets Sa apart, yet H2 and HL2 will never have that, I think, there is a total set storyline, whereas SA hasnt, imo.. I dunno, will anything keep Rockstar away from their GOTY?

I think GTA SA will be game of the year but on sales fiqures maybe not.
Why you ask? the age limit and some pearent don't want there kids playing it do they Pixels lol and after playing it myself I can see why.

Halo2 is gunna sell fast but game of the year? hmm dunno gunna be close in the charts as well if Halo2 is not far away from release.

GTA: SA. deffo. it simply rocks! its a lot better than i was hopin for and i had high expectations, lol!

But as you say Halo 2 will give it a run, be close i think

Dont forget the origional Half Life won 50 game of the year titles

Valid point but what else what out that year? It was totally new in terms of gameplay, but games like GTA have gone way past that now.
