Help with "Return to Mysterious Island"

Hi,

Anyone here playing the game? I am stucks making the second battery (seraching for silver). Also, anyone knows where I can get some tips, hints.. etc etc... thanks...

Go to the sea shore, where you got your turtle egg at the first time you being in the island, then look down and search, you will find a treasure box filled with so many thing you need, including silver copper. Be patient and seach the shore.

I accidently burned the 2 large bamboo pieces and now can't scare off the monkey by dropping them in the boiling pits. Anywhere else to get more large bamboo pieces or do I have to start over. Seems foolish. (Of course so was burning bamboo needlessly)

Dig near where you found the turtle's egg. You'll find a treasure chest that has both silver and gold in it.

Dig? How do I dig? I stare at the place where I found the turtle (crawling away behind the rocks) and the two turtle's egg, between the "forest" and the arch. It does not seem to be there? When I run the cursor over the sand where the eggs were, the cursor does not highlight. How are you then supposed to know you should be digging?

Does anyone else have the same problem? Please let me know if you have a solution to it... It seems you need the coins and the telescope in order to finish the game.
