The Hot List - Powerful Yu-Gi-Oh! cards
Since I see a lot of the same kinds of deck with a lot of cards that really shouldn't be in there, i have decided to make a list of some of the best cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. If a card does not appear on this list it doesn't mean it isn't good it just isn't frequently used, that I have seen. If anyone has any questions on what a card is please ask. Here is a list of all Banned/Restricted cards depending on the game type, use it to your advantage: http://www.upperdeckentertainment.co...forbidden.aspx
First off we will start with Effect Monster Cards. These monsters have proven time and time again to be useful assets during a duel. Jinzo Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning Witch of the Black Forest Sangan Magician of Faith Sinister Serpent Cyber Jar Morphing Jar Morphing Jar #2 Fiber Jar Breaker the Magical Warrior Tribe-Infecting Virus D.D. Warrior Lady Exiled Force Vampire Lord Skilled Dark Magician Nimble Momonga Giant Germ Mystic Tomato Cannon Soldier Magical Scientist (See below for best Fusions to use) Spirit Reaper Newdoria Dark Jeroid Don Zaloog Dark Ruler Ha Des Penguin Soldier Dark Necrofear Dark Magician of Chaos Exodia the Forbidden One and it's other pieces Injection Fairy Lily Reflect Bounder Yata-Garasu Berserk Gorilla Enraged Battle Ox Manticore of Darkness Marauding Captain Command Knight Double Coston Manju of the Ten-Thousand Hands Kaiser Seahorse Blade Knight Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6 and LV8 Zaborg the Thunder Monarch Mobius the Frost Monarch Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch Airknight Parshath Goblin Attack Force Spear Dragon Tsukuyomi Slate Warrior Blowback Dragon Barrel Dragon End of Anubis King of the Swamp Versago the Destroyer Goddess with the Third Eye Mystical Sheep #2 Beastking of the Swamp Thunder Dragon Jowgen the Spiritualist -Combo with Last Turn- The Creator Normal Monster Cards The 1900 Club: Gemini Elf Archfiend Soldier Mad Dog of Darkness Luster Dragon (MFC) Dark Magician - because of support cards for it Blue-Eyes White Dragon - 3000 ATK and Support Red-Eyes Black Dragon - support cards help make this awful monster descent. Spell Cards Pot of Greed Graceful Charity Mirage of Nightmare Upstart Goblin Painful Choice Raigeki Dark Hole Burst Stream of Destruction Tribute to the Doomed Nobleman of Crossout Fissure Hammer Shot Harpie's Feather Duster Heavy Storm Dark Magic Attack Mystical Space Typhoon Change of Heart Snatch Steal Enemy Controller Creature Swap Monster Reborn Premature Burial Delinquent Duo The Forceful Sentry Confiscation Metamorphosis Inferno Fire Blast Sage's Stone Trap Cards Imperial Order Magic Jammer Spell Shield Type-8 Magic Drain Solemn Judgment Seven Tools of the Bandit Horn of Heaven Mirror Force Magic Cylinder Ring of Destruction Waboku Hallowed Life Barrier Call of the Haunted Dust Tornado Gravity Bind Trap Hole Bottomless Trap Hole Sakuretsu Armor Last Turn -Combo with Jowgen the Spiritualist- Fusion Monsters These are mostly used with Magical Scientist: Thousand-Eyes Restrict Dark Balter the Terrible Ryu Senshi Fiend Skull Dragon Dark Flare Knight Other Powerful Fusions include Dark Paladin Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon This list is incomplete. Several cards have been missed and again, just because a card isn't here doesn't mean it isn't good, just not extensively used. This is a list of commonly used, powerful cards. Okay, I have updated the list. It is almost complete. There are probably a lot of cards missing. If there are any questions as to why a particular card is listed ask and I will explain it's power.

How about Hayabusa Knight? It's excellent, in my honest opinion. Especially if you can power it up.

I think Destiny Board would be a great addition to ANY deck, since once you have Destiny Board in play, if you dont draw the next letter (I in this instance) you can search your deck for the next letter... I ALWAYS find this useful for getting out of MAJOR jams, as well as Dark Hole, Final Destiny, and Raigeki.

That also is why I have more than 1 deck... i have countless (11 i think) decks built around 1 card or 1 set of cards... I Think my most powerful and flawless deck is my "Magician Deck" which is based around the Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl ect... (Dark Paladin also) with the Wizard of Light or W/E it is that is summoned in that duel that Yugi and Joey battle the Big 5 in Tristans body lol. You are right, but they are ways to cope with that... you dont know what else i stacked that deck with lol (Harpie's Feather Dusters ect) |

Please take your personal vendettas off my thread. This is what PRIVATE messaging is for.
Hayabusa Knight is an okay card. Mataza the Zapper is strictly better. 300 more attack and can't be taken control of. It also requires another card (an equip) to be of any real use. Mataza might make the list but Hayabusa will not. Destiny Board is an extremely difficult thing to accomplish. In my deck pre-sideboard I have several ways to deal with it. This is my post-ban deck btw. Mobus, Jinzo, Breaker, Heavy Storm, MST. After sb I've got 3 Dust Tornados for that. Destiny Board is along the lines of Gate Guardian, it's very hard to do. |

Sorry Sonic, I deleted all my posts. And I also agree with Sonic on this one. I personally like Mystic Swordsman LV 2 and 4 a lot, especially when used correctly with book of moon. I also think Breaker is very usefull in a tough situation, and can be very usefull to many decks.
