Kyogre, the story, not an RPG
I entered the cave known as The Cave of Origin to find a HM, but soon, I found more than that.
I was wandering around the Cave of Origin wondering to myself, "Where is that HM". I was walking further into the tunnel when i heard a huge roar. I ran down the tunnel thinking that somebody was chasing me with a pokemon but as i entered a chamber, my thought was proved wrong. There in front of me was a gigantic, blue, whale like pokemon, but worst of all, Team Aqua were abusing it! The pokemon let out a huge roar again. Then i heard a voice say, "Shut up you!" I knew that voice, it was Archie, the leader of Team Aqua and he was talking to the whale pokemon. I tried my Pokedex to identify the pokemon. It had a little information. All it could tell me was, "Kyogre, the legandary whale pokemon, further information is unaviable."
I knew that the fact of it being a legandary pokemon was why team Aqua was here. I picked up a big rock and hurled it at them. "Geodude," it yelled. I then realised i had threw a Geodude. Nevertheless it hit them and knocked a huge group of Aqua's unconscious. Archielooked at me sharply and walked towards me. "So, you think you can hurl Geodude's at us and get away with it? Well think again, You'll pay," he shrieked at me. I gave him a 'not bothered' look. He yelled abusive words at me. I then got angry and yelled, "Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, go" I threw three pokeballs out. Then Blaziken, Swampert and Sceptile appeared out of red beams from their pokeballs. Archie sent out Mightyena, Crobat and Sharpedo. I told my pokemon trio," Blaziken, Swampert, Sceptile, use Element Beam." It was my short name for the three using Blast Burn, Hydro Cannon and Frenzy Plant. They sent their special element moves at Archie's trio. Mightyena and Crobat avoided the attack but his Sharpedo got hit with the Frenzy Plant attack. Blast Burn and Hydro Cannon both missed. Sharpedo fainted. Archie told his two remaining pokemon to use a double bite attack. My pokemon were helpless as they needed to recharge after the Element Beam. The bites didn't affect my Blaziken an Swampert very much, but my poor old Sceptile was affected badly to the bites as he was a grass type. Sceptile fell to the floor but managed to get up again. He was poisoned so i yanked an Antidote out of my bag and sprayed it onto my Sceptile. The mark to say he was poisoned dissapeared. The battle contiued. "Blaziken, Fire Blast, Swampert, Hydro Pump, NOW!" They sent out the atacks and they both knocked the living hell out of his pokemon as they fainted. Archie stood there with his mouth opened slightly as he stared at his three fainted pokemon. He retrieved his pokemon and ran off.
Me and my Pokemon trio approached Kyogre. It let out a giant roar and my pokemon perked up. They were scared of Kyogre. I returned Swampert and Sceptile but kept out Blaziken. I then let out Vulpix and Charizard. There was silence. Then without notice, Kyogre used Sheer Cold on my Vulpix. Poor old Vulpix collapsed to the floor. Kyogre was mad as Team Aqua had been abusing it. So mad it sent out 5 Ice Beams at my Poor fainted Vulpix. I couldn't hear it breathing. The worst had happened, My little Vulpix had died from the Ice Beams. The 1st had made it frozen then the rest had frozen Vulpix's lungs and heart. My eyes started to water, then i got really mad. "BLAZIKEN, CHARIZARD, DOUBLE BLAST BURN, NOW!!!!!" They obeyed and the double Blast Burn knocked out Kyogre completely. I sent a pokeball at Kyogre. It caught it easily.
I retrieved Blaziken and Charizard, picked up my poor dead Vulpix, and sent out Dugtrio. "Dugtrio, use dig to get us out of the cave," I said. When i reached the entrance i realised that the HM i'd been looking for in the first place was right beside the Entrance. I rushed to the Pokemon Center and gave her My two fire pokemon and my new Kyogre. She put Blaziken and Charizard's pokeballs on the healing bed and told me she would let Kyogre into a pool of water big enough for three Wailords. She then asked me in a curious way," Why is that Vulpix lying on your shoulder?". "It died trying to help Blaziken and Charizard defeat Kyogre, the poor little thing?" I sniffed a little. "Oh my, i'm so sorry about your Vulpix, here take this, it enables you to get a free funeral for your pokemon. Ding, oh, here are your two fire pokemon, they're fully healed. Please stay here for the night while your Kyogre recovers, it will take a night to recover.
The next day i retrieved Kyogre and flew on Salamence to Mt. Pyre. I went to the funeral directors and gave them the voucher. I filled in the form stating what Pokemon had died and needed a funeral, which type of coffin i wanted for it and what level i wanted the grave to be on. I chose a Deluxe 3000 coffin and chose the ground level.
That afternoon, everybody in Lilycove City attended the Funeral. The vicar entered and started speaking. "We are gathered here today toremeber the brave Vulpix owned by Ray Dragon. Vulpix died bravely helping two fellow comrades, Blaziken and Charizard, to defeat the legendary whale pokemon, Kyogre. Vulpix was indeed the little scrapper. It couldn't refuse a challenge. Although Vulpix has been in tough battles before, Vulpix ha only ever fainted 5 times. Vulpix died at Lv: 82. May Vulpix Rest In Peace." Vulpix's coffin was lowered into it's grave and the grave was closed. I never wanted this to happen again so i started a career as a Pokemon Professor assisting Professor Birch in Littleroot Town. I still kept my Pokemon to help me in the lab and visited Vulpix's grave every other day to mourn.
20 years later, i was doing research out of the lab when a wild Vulpix ran up to me and jumped up at me. It looked like my poor old dead Vulpix before it died. Then i realised that Vulpix had given birth 2 days before it's death. I then remebered hopw Team Rocket snatched it's cub and ran off with it. It took a Pokeball from my belt and nudged me with it. I knew what do to and let Vulpix into it. I was reunited Vulpix's cub. I was in tears of joy as i let out Vulpix again and we both returned to Littleroot Town to contue my research. Vulpix helped me in the lab my bringing the tools i needed to me. One day, Professor Birch gave me a Fire Stone to make Vulpix evolve into a Ninetales. I left the decision up to Vulpix. It nodded and i used the Fire Stone on Vulpix. It evolved into a beautiful Ninetales. It gleamedin the lights and it started helping me in the Lab again.
A week after Ninetales evolution, My pokemon recieved the Pokemon Team of the Year for their talent in the lab.
