Action Replay - the "Encounter" problem

Has ANYONE solved the Encounter problems with the Action Replay yet? i.e., Encounter not working at all on Ruby, not working for the main list on Leaf Green, and only up to Celebi on Leaf Green's new list?

I'm using an AR that came preloaded with these codes, and yes, I'm inputting them one at a time. No dice.

Anyone else have any luck?

m, i have always been able to use these codes with little trouble. Only a few didnt work i think one was serebii. mind u now i think of it they were never preprogrammed into mine, it might be worth imputting the codes manually in case perhaps there were errors in the list :O, its a long shot. Also what countries's game are you using? for the encounter codes i use the US codes on my UK ruby with no problems, anyway hope u find a solution

I'm using US codes on a US cartridge. I checked the codes on the official AR website, and they match the ones that are already in the cart. I suppose the next step is to try pulling some codes off a FAQ...

Speaking of which...why the hell do people write out codes like this:

AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAA AAAAAAAA

When they're actually entered into the AR like this:

AAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAA

It makes figuring out what order to enter codes in rather difficult...

lol on that one, i imagine its jsut to make it a wee bit ewasier toread :-S, but yeah thats certainly worth a shot. as for order, just always go left-right and ya cant go wrong :0 and remember of coruse the golden rule if the code doesnt appear to work for the sake of god dont!!! save ur game

Oh, I know. When I DO save, I always turn the AR off first, too.

Hey, you'd know this: when I use the Aurora/Mystery Ticket codes, where do I go in the game to actually GET the tickets?

ok well if i recall correctly u have to do soemthing bizzare lol. anyway i belive u have to go and buy them from the vermillion store lol. i think it was vermillion? lol.
but i must admit ruby/sapphire ar emore my expertise i think others onher emight be able to help you mre

I tried using custom AR codes from GameFAQs last night, and none of them worked. I triplechecked the spelling of the codes and everything...this bites!

ok. if i remember correctly the sequence of events goes like this: you have to go to the vermillion store and write something in that pad that is on the table just below the store clerk. then i think u need to save this, then use the DMA enabler alogn with the cheats, oh also i think you have to do the tickets in sequence, i think its the Mysitic ticket you need t get first. i cant really remember but i am pretty sure it was very presise. ill have a dig around soem of the codes and give them a wee trial. Unfortunalty by AR broke last night lol ( another on order!!! phew!. But i had the codes on that

I've done the pad-writing thing already; you write "LINK TOGETHER WITH ALL" on any pad in any store to unlock the Mystery Gift function. What I need to know is where the actual tickets are located AFTER you enter the codes; do you need to talk to a specific person in a specific place to get them?

Just had a thought, you may not like this thought but you may prefer it
there is a site called the pokemon maker> link at the bottom of page.
On this site you can create any pokemon,including deoxys. this has several advantages over aurora ticket code.
choose shiny
choose nature
choose IV's
you can make it EV trained from the off so no EV trainign ness.
You can even put it your trainer ID and name so that anyone who sees it will not know its hacked.
you can select the level and destination found> for deoxys this would be LV30 @ birth island.
obedience code means dexosys will obey you without question.

but this depends if ur willing to do this lol, some people have a bit of a problem with sharking: personelly i think its b*** in the end of the day you still get ur pkmn and thats the best bit , this site is a bit tricky to use so ill give you a quick tutorial, the last thing you want is to srew ur game up by gettin it wrong :O

1.scroll down and put in trainer info> put name where name is and ID where trainer id is DO NOT MESS WITH SECRET ID.
2. if ur a girl trainer select the girl setting to the right, do not click any of the boxes, this is for getting the codes seperatly. All codes will be consolidated later so dont worry!!!.
3.where it says pokemon info: put in the pokemons name you wish it to have, If you leave it blank it will be named Nameme
4.select which ball you wish it to have been caught on, Ultra is a realistic ball to choose.
5.select shiny/normal via the little check box. also with pokerus.
6.chosoe the PKMN itself !!!!!, for this select deoxys
7/ check the obedience box!!!!.
8. now select ur nature, for my LG deoxys i choose Bold, because deoxys has two physical weakness;s and only one elemental.
9.LV met>>>> this is important if this is not right for the pokemon it will be obvious it has been hacvked. Although we are makign a pokemon with full 31 IV for stats and shiny it is not IMPOSSIBLE for this to occur!. nintendo may tell you the chances are several billion to one lol, but they cannot dissprove it..... imput Lv 30
10.select location found. if you want to have found this deoxys on LG select leaf green. then scroll down the next list and find [{ BB :isle 9 deoxys Birth Island]} again this is imperative if you want ur deoxys's info to read. Met LV30 birth island.
11.choose a held item for it!!! you may aswell the code will be jsut as long lol. i normaly use a leftovers, or perhaps use it to get some of the rare berries? its all ur choice

ok we are onto the stats section now, go get a cup of T and a bikkie and we shall continue.

12. this is allllll personal choice, but i figure lets have a max IV deoxys!!!. in which case hit the Max DV switch " you will notice how all the IV';s have switched to 31 "
13. next onto effort, essentially this is EV training, if you do not know of EV trainign read up online, if its somethign you wish to consider select the approriote numbers.
bear in mind that you can only have 510 effort points total and no more than 252 in any one stat. For my LG deoxys i put 252 into SPDF and 252 into DF with 6 into HP resukting in the full 510.
But!!!!! if you want a super duper duper deoxys click the max eff switch " if you do this nintendo/anyone will know its been hacked, it will not work on colloseum either"
14. ok almost finisned lol, this is a bit obscure i only found it out thru trial and error, but when you a numbver into the last field [{ IV stats at LV 1]} this actually means what level the new created pokemon will be !!!, i dont think the author of this site uses english as a first language PMSL. anyway you may aswell select 30 , you can choose udner or over this number it will not affect what level it says " met in birth isalnd LV 30" , but of coruse if u have it level 24 and it says met in birth island lv 30 its gonna look a bit suspect till it levels up pmsl.
15.ok onto moves, you dont need to adjust this atall, all i did was for my FR deoxys i wanted him to have flamethrower to really make him a good sweeper with icebeam, thunderbolt,flamethrower and psycho boost. Again all personel choice.

UR DONE!!!! almost lol, check up now and make sure all ur field are correct, thgins to double check are: PKMN nature, PKMN level met, Obeidience setting, shiny setting and most importantly TRAINER NAME AND ID!!!.

now its onto the consolidation of all these codes, luckilly this sitr will provide you with one MASSSSIIIVVVEEE code which will take you about 5 years lol j/k to imput.

Now!, i suggest you use PKMN ruby or sapphire to imput these codes, if possible buy a spare RUBY or sapphire " works better than it does with LG FR because these need a DMA enabler".

lets say like me ur using sapphire, scroll up to the very top of the page and u will see this

Game: 0907 (u/uk) RUBY.

select the sapphire UK version, and you will suddenly notice that a massive code has appeared in the window :O this is ur pokemon code .

one last thing, tick the box which says output (M) then press once!! Samples to Code. just above the game selector, this will now give you ur master code.
Now jsut imput master code, and then on a seperate entry input the pokemon code.
play the game and in box 1 slot one will be ur deoxys, all ready for you to trade over to LG/FR/Emerald or whatever .


V V V V imprtant!!!!. if nothing or a bad egg remains DO NOT SAVE, just turn it str8 off and look for the error in the code, TRUST ME!!!! you will have made one pmsl, its a lengthy code. but i promice the reward is well worth it.

Anyway Just make sure u do all this on a cartridgethat if it goes all pearshape and deletes you wont worry aboutit. Just look for a second hand on on ebay if u like lol.

31pkmn does not take any liabillity for loss of game in using these codes. The author of the Tutorial explicitly reccomends the use of a seperate game cartridge for obtaining pokemons.
