I know this has been made before but since the one title has now been launched and the other soon, i just wanted to know which one people believe is the better of the two now. At first i backed the DS, simply because Nintendo was behind it and those guys rule when it came to handhelds or use to! I now believe the PSP to be much, much better...and so i havn't purchased a DS i'm waitin for the PSP though its gonna cost about Ł80 more it's worth the extra cash.....the Gizmondo i can't see catchin on as much, but who knows...

I would have to say the PS2 Portable. Its Sony's first handheld and it looks great. It sounds great. The DS is good but not good enough. Its the thought that counts. I think. Anyway,Sony needs some ideas. I think. Sony's PS2 Portable could also have better production than Nintendo's DS. Thats all for now. If I have more,i'll add it.

The key difference is that the PSP can also be used as a media centre for playin mp3s and dvds .etc along with playin games which is really the only basic function of the DS apart from emailin.

I'd still have to say PSP is better. In a friendly way. Oh! Another thing, your DS might have DEAD PIXELS! It said so in a thread. Having dead pixels isn't good.

So does the PSP.....have to see if Sony are as good as Nintendo in repairing them.

The PSP is better, what with MP3s, DVDs, there's just more features on the PSP. The touchscreen on the DS is cool, but have they really made new ground with this? "A touchscreen. Wow, so there's something to poke while you're playing your games. So, what else does the DS do?....Oh. I see." *Boy throws DS out of the window and buys a PSP.*
