Getting older... Sucks

Well basically all i have to say is that i noticed that in the past 6 months or so that my life has changed so dramaticly that it is crazy. well basiclly nothing serious, just lots of little things. let start out when i got my truck. durring summer vacation i knew that i was going to be driving soon so my dad and i decided to get me a truck. however i could't drive it for like 4 months, we had the money at the time and it was then or never. so i get it and it runs and works and yeah. so then i go through the school year and get my license and so then i can drive. then i join bowling club and i start makin some friend and i'm driving every where, basiclly life is pretty good. so then later i'm allowed to drive with friends, distracting, but fun. then later i'm allowed to drive at night, which is good cuz i have bball at night and i always had to get a ride. so then later i get a girlfriend. i hadn't had one for like 7 months so yeah. and now were doing stuff so much and it's fun and all. and then in the middle of all of this i get a cell phone and start talkin to alot of people alot more. so basicaly i'm getting friends. but today my truck stops. i'm driving to my friends house to show this chicks where he lives and i pull into a house and it stops in the drive way. needless to say i was mad. so we get it stared after like 10 minutes then i take off the the bowling alley and we have fun then i leave and go to my dad's get my stuff and head off to my mom's. now on the way there i stop at a light. it turns green and i step on the gas, only it doesn't move, RPM'S are at zero and the truck is off. i try to start it, it doesn't go. i am getting honked at and i dont know what to do. so i just sit there waiting because i know that after awhile it will start. so i do and this guy comes and helps me and yeah i get going and make it to my moms. and by then my engine was stinking and everything. i think i need a new truck... gas is going up... and i have things to buy. i need money, school is tough, and i have to make time for friends/girlfriends. so basically life changeed. sorry this is so long, i wanted to get if off meh chest. congratz if you read it all. n e questions, cuz i know it's confusing, just as.

So you have no vehicle. Maybe you need a new engine. Or battery. I'm just taking a guess. Anyway,hope you get a new vehicle or get your truck fixed.

As you grow old, life becomes more demanding. If you can live with it and pull through, you will enjoy it. If you make it difficult for yourself, you simply will not. I, personally, wish I had a job right now. Then, just maybe, everything would fall into place for me. I can only wait...

I know exactly what your saying actully. I have decided that you can't simply just wait for things to happen, but you really do have to do things yourself. I live at my dad's one week and my mom's the other and it just seems to me that if you just wait to do something at one of their houses and put it off and don't do it, that you dont get another chance for a week. basically saying that you need to do things yourself, and do them the way you want it.

About the car its probablly solenoid (engages and disengages the starter motor with the fly wheel) getting stuck, which can be fixed by tapping the starter motor.

Yeah i dont know. I'm going to have some people look at it. Like what happend was when i would stop at a stop light, and i didn't move it little by little, it would just stop.

i mean if i wasn't getting older these things wouldn't happen. not saying that getting older is that bad, just saying that things change. and it wasn't that bad that my truck stopped, i just dont want to have a truck that isn't reliable. i didn't freak out or n e thing, i was actully perfectly calm, had tonz of ppl wizzing by me tho.

umm wit ur car stopping at a light, it may be a gear box problem or like with some cars, they need a little revving once they stop. it culd just be something small like an ant. i kill ants...

Actually,talking about Gold's truck is part of the subject. Anywho,maybe your luck changes when you get older. At least I think so. I'm only 10 so I wouldn't really know.

Only 10, i couldn't even tie my shoelaces at that age. Yeh anyways what truck would it be. Ford Bronco's are great for thrashing about in the bush.

1989 Ford Ranger XLT. good truck, gettin old is all. i decided that the money i make will go towards it. today when i was driving it to go get it fixed the engine shut down when i was driving and started to smoke and stuff... i was like, great! but hey, they dotn think that it's going to be too expensive to fix.

Your only 16, i hate places where they get their licences at 16, i have to wait till im 18. But i get my L plates in just under a month. I have to do a minimum of 120 hours in all weather conditions. Do Americans have L plates as well.

Depends on where you live. here you can take drivers ed at 14 1/2, and get your permit at that age and you have to drive for 40 hours during the day and 10 at night. I have been driving for over 4 months. i personally think that everyone's states are too strict on it, i mean it's not like idaho has some major wreak rate...
