Here's some info I got from a magazine I bought last Friday.


PS3:
Wireless "boomerang" controllers
Comes in black and white,
Release date is Fall of 2006 in the US (likely)
Price is $400 dollars (WTF?!)
The system is standable (DUH!!!!)

Nintendo Revolution:
Colors are red,black,white,silver,and green
Controller shape is unknown
Standable
Relese date is sometime in 2006
Price is $200-250 dollars

Xbox 360:
Release date is Fall of 2005
Price is $300-400 dollars
Able to plug in digital cameras,MP3 players,and even Sony's PSP through the USB 2.0 ports (cool!!!)

Bumper buttons in place of the Black and White buttons

Xbox Live is still availble

My friend Crispy (yes hes real) loves the Xbox 360..somehow i dont like it alot..hmm..

Yeah,i'm buying the PS3 and the Xbox 360 or Nintendo Revolution. My mom makes me trade in my old systems. Oh,yeah. I've got something to add.

The only way your gunna see me being semi forced into buying a PS3 is if they do a Gran Turismo 5 package deal... I might not be able to resist it lol and the Xbox 360 with Halo 3. I'll hold out from buying one for aslong as I can! Got to fiqure out where to put the 2 consoles an all yet, my desk aint big enough at the moment :p

i read a letter in OAXM saying this: "the xbox 360 will rock. so will the ps3 and so, probably, will the revolution. so whats the big deal?everyone wants to say the Ps3 is twice as powerful as the xbox 360 but we know Sony always lies about how powerful their systems are and their videos are always fake- remember the final fanstasy promo they said was in game that turned out to be pre rendered?
im going to stick with xbox because i dont want to play lame japanese rpgs and platformers. i wanna play halo3 and KOTOR3. and all the xbox 360 games at e3 were playable. none of the ps3 ones were, so nobodys really even seen what a ps3 game looks like"

1. You started out so well lol
2. There not all fake, most are trailers that are not in real time
3. Lame Jap and RPG games? FF games are RPG's and there meant to be very good and very popular.
4. How do you know there were playable at E3 and that none of the PS3 games were? Even my sources didn't tell me that....

It's a good job this is a console ware thread lol as for me... I'm easy, I'll be buying both the 360 and PS3 just coz I can and want to lol

Nope. The Xbox 360 won't be playing Xbox games. And that includes the rumored 360-optimized version of Halo 2 that people are speculating will come preinstalled on the new console.

How old is that mag Oo most of us know that the Xbox 360 will play orginal Xbox games but MS ahven't hidden the fac the elimunator software thing there using could be cought out by some of the older games/disks. Hopefuly they wont but who knows.

I hope the 360 comes with a memory card in the pack coz I dont wanna have to keep my original xbox on the desk just to play stuff like Halo2, no way me starting back at sqaure one again lol.... failing that I'll just have to buy the original Xbox memory card and hop it fits in the 360 slots meh will cross the bridge when the time comes :p
