The Silent Hill Series

a simple question for you silent hill fans. Which one is best out of the ones on ps2 ? Ive heard 4 is the worst one, but not which one people think is the best. Ill be going into town in about 3 hours to buy some games. Your recommendations would be nice on teh silent hill series, I will look for all of them on pre-owned deals in game (5 for £30) but if I had to choose which one should I go for ?

Dont just try GAME tho try GameStation. Might be inside a blockbuster building like ours. Could also try an indy place if you have one around your area called GameXchange then dont bother with them lol the owner of the company rips people of with his prices No wonder he's rich

As for the Silent Hill games... I've played Silent Hill 2 and thought it was a little rubbish. Due to the camara angles more than anything else. I suggest reading reviews as half the n00bies here at c/d are under age to play the games lol

I recommend to you tho Resident Evil 4! The best resi game since the PS1 days!

Well I got silent hill 2&3 and res evil 4

I played all of the Silent Hills, I loved them all, story is amazing and the puzzles are mind breaking.

But the best thing about those games is the music, atmosphere and surroundings.

hmm, best Silent Hill... well, They were all good, 4 isn't really the worst of all, it's just a tad different because you can walk around in your apartment.

I'd say 3 is the best of all, then 2 or 4, 2 has a way better story but 4 has awesome twists and weird stuff.

Yeah I've played 2, 3 and 4.

All great but yeah four just wasn't quite as tense, still great though. 3 was very,very good. Great story and enemies.

Resi 4 is awesome. I have it for PS2. pwnage.

well i have silent hill 3 , **** myself playing it on my own , lol...i must say , awesome storie line though , especially coming to the end is very scary , lol def silent hil 3!!
