Hey all, Is this a silly thing to do? my bro is helping me sell my ps2 and gamecube, i have 19 games for my ps2 and 9 games on my gamecube, its on ebay, the seller's the_alternative_plan by the way. I dont know wether i should sell them. should i sell them?

This is all to buy an x-box 360 by the way

hmm tough one....just sell the gamecube and games not the PS2.

you should rather get a ps3 so you can play your ps2 games on that, sell the gamecube and games to help

Sell some, or all if you are completley converting to Microsoft. Hint: Sell the games individually, and don't combine on shipping.

It's kind of a good idea, but..
Xbox 360 doesn't have any amazing games at the moment, a lot of awesome games are coming out ofcourse, which I can't wait for, but it's still a matter of waiting for them.

I say wait a few months till those games are actually out, then maybe the 360 Price has lowered as well and you can make a way better deal then.

or wait for about 6 months and buy the 360 from the video store for $150 cheaper than everywhere else like i did with the ps2 when it came out =P

It's probibly a good point because the ps2 is still popular and thats been out for a long time, so i could just wait for ps3. but perfect dark!, but then again, the new ff7!

As for selling the PS2 and PS2 games... I wouldn't! Yes get rid of the GameCube and the GameCube games but that wont even come close to the price of a Xbox360 and like Cid said, wait a while or failing that buy a PS3.

Like cid, I'll probably get both consoles (xbox 360 and PS3) but I'm waiting till after christmas either way as I might be able to get me a job within a Game shop again but this time a legit and well know company

The Final Fantasy VII Demo was a Tech Demo to show the actual PS3 Graphic Power.
But ofcourse what Nitrous means is that you never know with Square, long ago they said that there was never going to be a Final Fantasy VII Movie, and look at things now.
Just hold a little hope inside you that they're really going to make a Final Fantasy VII Remake.

I think it's a bit too much trouble for just a Tech Demo, so hopes up

It'd be pretty cool thou, if it was an actuall game. just think what cid highwind would look like, i reckon real people take part in the fmv's, just think how clever the fmv's in ffx and ffx-2 was like, if ff7 (remake) is gonna be better, then id get it straight away. but its a possiblity that it wont exist init, also in that demo video cloud looks like the same cloud in the movie, if u know wat i mean

Have you seen the Dirge of Cerberus that's coming out on PS2? The FMV's in that game look exactly like the movie Advent Children.
