Animation with Photoshop Elements

there was another one like this but i have pics and the other ones too old to revive and i made it for another site so i thought id post it here too

If you are like me and cant afford 500 dollar software and want to do animation if you have photoshop elements 4.0 then you can do it for

bum bum bum

$150

acctually it costs less cause mine came in a bundle with adobe premier elements(video editing program)

well heres wat you have to do

FIRST
open up adobe photoshop elements

NEXT
create a new file and draw a picture (i chose a stick figure cause its cool

THEN
duplicate the layer

then erase the arms and move them up or watever on the second layer

THEN
repeat these last two steps as many times as u would like until you get a good amount layers that are slightly different then eachother

THEN
File Save For Web

make sure the animate tab is clicked and set the frame speed(amount of time between each layer)

FINALLY
Save and upload

yea i didnt spend too much time on my stick figure moving but you just think of each layer as a new slide in a slideshow

hoped this helped
if your confused just post your questions
or pm either me or teh33

heres another easy example

each layer you just duplicate it and spin the stick figure a little

Your first question! Not in a PMing mood, so I'm posting. Is it possible to do this on Photoshop Elements 3.0?

photoshop cs2 is an image making, or if you will.. a photo editing program..
it just wont work..

you need photoshop elements

unless theres a photoshop elements cs2.. in which case are you sure that your saving it right? or have you messed up with the layers?

well i dont no if thats how u do it on cs2 but yea

as for your question fel

this was on the adobe website under the adobe photoshop elements 3.0 spot

"Projects stand out when students experiment with special effects and compositing tools to enhance their photographs. With custom 3D effects, drop shadows, bevels, animation tools, and more, they can show off their creativity — and youthful professionalism."

so yes fel im sure you can do animation in 3.0

check to see if theres a save for web area and an animation check thingy

Yeah, there's that spot... I just don't do layers... I despise layers.
