Sony...Copycat? Or masterminds of Gaming?

Anyone notice the small dot looking Playstation emblem on the new DualShock 2 controller for the PS3? Yeah, now take a look at the Xbox 360 controller.

See that big Xbox emblem on the controller? *Gasps* WELL I'LL BE DAMNED!

Sony appears to be copying Microsoft. It's even been said in an interview with Kazuo Hirai, the President of SCEA, mentioned for us to "Think Xbox 360's guide"

So that is basically hinting that they took the idea from microsoft, and i bet it will be designed different yet work and function the same way. This is proposterous!

The Sony emblem on the new controllers is actually a button.
If you press it, it will take you "home" (it's called the home button), which is more or less the same as on the PSP (the function)

Every Next Gen system Right now has a Home or menu Button. Even the nintendo wii.

Yeah, and plus the 'Home" button was first used by Sony on their first portable system, the PSP... So technically, the "Home" button was Sony's idea.

Same here. I personally don't care if Sony's copying Microsoft or not, as long as Sony releases the PS3 before 2008 'cause by then, I would've done thrown my PS2 out the window and possibly through someone's car window.

They never even said If it's a "home" button, All they said it was going to work like the Xbox 360's Dashboard. I doubt PSP had a dashboard... I never got a PSP honestly, I think it's trash...

*cough* Created by me. *cough* Kyah... I personally don't care if Sony's copying anyone or not. If they're copying someone, so what? It's their system to do what they want with it. If Sony wants to add a Home button, let them. If Sony wants to add a black and white button, let them. Like I said before, it's Sony's system and Sony's idea, so it's what they want on the system... Not what Microsoft or Nintendo wants... I mean, come on. Each system is unique in it's own way. I'd say how they're unique in their own ways, but that would take up the whole post.

Still I would never get PS3 now they are calling the Controller the PooS. the 2 o's resemble the ****og sticks *cough*created by nintendo*cough* which is the same thing nintendo did with the Wii, the two i's resembling players. i just feel sorry for the bad sales sony will face when releasing it
