One of the most awaited Xbox360 games is out in a weeks time in the US and a little later in the UK and nobody has made a thread dedicated to it yet?

Before you say anything... Yes I know the music makes you want to slit your wrists but I thought it was a half decent trailer and in some strange way the music goes rather well with it.

hmm. i'm thinking of racking up the 400$ for the 360. I play my friends at his place nearly every day. Gears of war is the most amazing game i've ever played. Live is amazing, the gameplay never gets old. I love this game.


hmm, another plus to getting a 360 is the cheap price of Live. $50 a year is amazingly good.

@Anubis: Live isn't all its cracked up to be on most games anyway... well to me it isn't which is why I stick with Silver and use the market place to download new stuff and patches now and again.

I just find death matches in FPS games pointless because I have no real connection with these people. Most are annoying as well. Even a guy on my friends list I met on PGR3 a few times likes the sound of his own voice a little to much!

Its only good if you either know people on forums that have XBL or know them in eveyday life. Non of my mates have a 360 and not many of this forum has em and the ones that do are like 12 o-O

Other than that the console its self is well worth the money! It can only get better really and a HD TV just finishes it off! I could never go bk to Standard definition TV now with the 360!

Alright, I disagree on the Live part

Xbox 360 is dominating in the Live department, and we all know it, it's microsoft, they have the best experience on how to make the best out of online play.

I truly used to be a pure single player kinda guy, but once I got Xbox Live Gold, all the games had new options, it was like a whole new game opened up.

The rivalry is awesome, if you want to be the best, or just test your skills, its great to quickly go online and be in a match fighting in mere seconds.

Ofcourse there's a lot of retards on Live, but that's the best part of it!
I always laugh my ass off with some of em, even have some people in my friends list who when I first met them acted so crazy and funny that I just had to keep in contact with them.

I play most games with a group of people from the UK who I know through an MMORPG, usually chat on Teamspeak with em or Xbox Live, and it's always a blast.

Like Lee said when you don't have any friends who own a 360 (none of my friends do, well except one) it can get kinda pointless at first, but that just depends on the kind of gamer you are. If you are strafing towards having a challenge it's awesome fun.

I do agree on FPS being boring online, I personally don't play GoW online against people cauz I don't like doing stuf like that. But on the other hand, playing Co-op online with a friend is friggin amazing, it makes the game 300% as much fun.

A-W-S-O-M-E game.

I'm a big fan of the game. Very easy to get started and the graphix are amazing. But, I could do without all the cut scenes, or at least let you skip them like you can in Halo2.
