Is it worth it...?

...Or should I stick with my plain Xbox? It sounds great and some good title's on the horizon, Fable 2 (rumours), Gears of War, Halo III, test driver etc. are sounding good, but would the ends justify the means? I am kinda cashed up at the moment and I might wait until the after Christmas sales, what do you think about it? Worth the plunge or not?

It's deffo worth it.

Nintendo Wii is totally crap, people are just blinded by the "NEW AWESOME THING". It gets seriously boring after a while and the games are retarded, lame and for kids.
(I'm keeping Zelda out of this, but you won't buy a console over one game)

PS3 is doing a bad job, since all they seem to care about is money, everything is expensive, and their ideas are scary, it only involves more money.

Xbox 360 is at least cheaper than PS3, and the Online capability can't be matched! Microsoft knows how to do stuff Online, and playing Online is even better than PC online to be honest, no lag, no Mic problems, nothing.

The games on 360 are getting hotter and hotter, started with just DOA4 for me, but now have Gears of War (Which is a revolution by itself! Shows that Consoles can have shooter games just as good/even better than the PC) and got DoA Xtreme2, Ninety Nine Nights, Condemned and some other games.

Assassin's Creed is coming soon, and it looks bloody amazing, GTA 4 will be hitting the 360 first, and so many more awesome titles like Lost Planet, Bioshock and so much more.

I'd say Hell Yes for the 360!

Awesome thanks for the info. I wasn't really thinking about the other next gens...playstations always seem a little weak even if they beat Xbox in sales, nintendo have a good concept, but from the sounds of it, needs more fine tuning
