Official Wii Discussion, Help Thread

Well I just got my wii back yesterday after 2 weeks cause somehow the wii just got bricked in the av cable slot so nintendo agve me a new console free just sucks that i have to start over my games, luckily i saved my important miis on my wii-mote such as :Me, Mr. EMO, Rocky Balboa, Peter Griffin, Hitler,a nd Jewsy=my jewish mii to box hitler...but i did lose El Hippie and Clinton.. oh well. Anyways in this thread you can discuss the wii in general, ask questions, or ask for help.

My question is, does anyone no of when fifa will make a soccer game for wii. I know it is prob only later this year cause i just got fifa 07 for ps2 in october. but has anyone heard any details?

Why would you want a soccer game, you would like need feet straps or something. Anyways i hope a resident evil comes out for the wii. That would own. (I want super smash bros. brawl and metroid prime corruption) Also i give the high demand till after Easter, but if a few highly anticipated games come out demand should shoot right back up

um cause soccer is the best sport in the world...anyways back on topic I can calm my fifa craze with Mario Strikers Charged. I read somewhere that Nintendo expects to ship 17 million wiis next months

I don't see the point of just one thread for the Wii. That would just null the point of having the forum for the Wii, wouldn't it? But whatever, I shall leave that to the staffs.

On topic, now. I personally don't think the Wii is all that great. It does have some decent games, like Zelda (Twilight Princess) and Super Smash Brothers Brawl that is to be released during the summer (I can't remember the exact release date). Plus, if Nintendo kept the same name for the Wii, when they came out with their next console, it would be called the Nintendo Wii Ni, since 'Ni' stands for 2 in Japanese. And I think the name sounds stupid... No offence to those who like the Wii or anything, but that's just my opinion.

Wii is basicall a symbol

the two i's stand for two people playing wii and 2 wii-motes. Its better then Xbox360 and PS3

Wii can't be a symbol and a name unless it's the meaning of a name. [An example would be Kayaku (my other half, which now has a name) means 'the symbol of hatred and death.' Not saying that that is true...] Since Wii can't be a symbol, it's just the name of a game system made by Nintendo. No, I'm not trying to start an argument here because I know the result of it. All the Nintendo Lovers will gang up on me...

Yes, but all Japanese names have a meaning. All human/animal names have some sort of meaning... Game system names don't. [Unless you're some idiot who names everything...]

It is a bit different when you see a thread specifically created for a game like the Pokémon threads in the GBA forum. Do take into account that it was made before the Pokémon forum was created.
