Many centuries ago, or so the stories told.. In the world of Vylerd, Alchemy was the main source of culture and power to the people. Alchemy is a powerful thing, with many effects. It could transmute lead into gold or it could thwart death itself. Civilizations and technology developed to very great heights, and the world was peaceful.. Until, the ambitions and aspirations of many countries led up to power struggles and eventually, a world war, where Alchemy and Mana was abused to the point where the mana almost disappeared completely..

Vylerd would have been completely destroyed if a group of wise men didn't come and seal Alchemy away, deep in Mt. Lye, site of a shrine to Sol and Luna. That left only mana, the world's only life source now. The people finally came to their senses, and stopped war, learning that it would deplete mana, and without mana, crops wouldn't grow and water would dry up.. The world would slowly, but surely, die... The world had lost a very important and huge resource.. But, Alchemy could be brought back into the world, however if the eight elemental jewels were thrown into the wells of the eight great towers of the world. The elements were fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, light, darkness, and ice.. The jewels were hidden deep in Sol Sanctum, as Vylerd existed for many ages to come.

At the foot of Mt. Lye, there was a small village.. This village, Tila, made it upon themselves to be the guardians of Sol Sanctum and Mt. Lye. Due to this, the town learned alot of powerful magic, that the most of the world didn't even dream about. So, they had to hide this from the rest of world, living in isolation and in peace... Until one day, two villains snuck into Sol Sanctum.. But, they couldn't get passed the puzzles and it set off a trap.. A trap that caused a huge storm in the village of Tila and caused a giant boulder to fall.. The boulder and the storm killed about half of the village, but the two villains left and swore they would come back at get the jewels...

PRESENT DAY--Five years after this accident, Kile Dumanis, a seventeen year old and his best friend and crush, Jeena Kaleara, with a few other friends and their teacher, Kradan, decided to explore Sol Sanctum.. What they find and what happens will change their lives forever.. They will go around the world and see things other people haven't seen in centuries.. They will also find out what dark secret the world is being kept from.. The world is lying on how smart, powerful, and skilled these kids are and their talents... This is their story...

Bio-A young swordsman who lost his foster parents and his left arm from the storm. He has a mechanic arm weapon that replaces his left arm. Unlike most of the people in Tila, Rush isn't able to use magic at all, as it would kill him instantly. He always wanted to leave the village to off on an adventure. Rush wears rusted armour damged from the storm that looks very fragile, so he usually complains to the blacksmith about getting a new set of armour. He wears green pants that come along with brown platform shoes. He has green eyes and has a scar on his left eye. His hair is spikey and short. Rush is interested in the history of Vylerd and plans to become an archaeologist.

Bio-Mei is a cheerful friend of Rush's, who is secretly dying to terminal illness. No one knows about this yet as she does not want anyone to worry about her. Mei tends to get careless and often gets carried away too much. She has no parents and lives with Rush, acting like his younger sister. She is physically weak but angry or upset, her strength suddenly increases hundred times more.

Bio-Bytaust is an android, or as Rush calls it, an alien that suffered amnesia and no longer remembers it's past. It was found by Rush after the storm ended. He was later repaired by Mei. Nothing is known about Bytaust except it uses powerful magic and is incredibly sensitive to harsh insults. Though, it is an android, it acts more and more human each day.

Due to that, he the strong silent type who rarely says anything other then cold insults. He and Rush often fight each other because of their differences.

It's a peaceful day in the village of Tila.. Everyone is going on about their lives, as usual.. Kile and Renji are doing work, dragging two huge and heavy packs of logs over their shoulders, to the Blacksmith..

Kile-*is struggling and is far behind Renji* Agh.. Ugh.. Damnit.. *is panting* W-what does the Blacksmith need with all this wood?! Gah! >_< Renji-*isn't having any trouble at all and looks back at Kile* Come on, Kile! Hurry up, so we can meet up with Kradan and the others and head up to Sol Sanctum! Kile-S-shut up! You know it's forbidden to go up there, so why are you talking about it so loudly?! Renji-Oh.. *faces forward* My bad.. Kile-*face is red* Grr..

Meanwhile, at Kradan's house, where mostly everyone else is at..
Jeena-*sitting down in a chair and she sighs* Kile and Renji are taking to long.. Kyro-*leaning back in his chair* Yeah.. They need to hurry up, I'm getting bored.. >_<

Rush-Let's go! *runs at Bytaust with sword ready for a slash, then jumps up* Hyaah! Bytaust-*swings arm back, then punches Rush with right fist* Hmph! Rush-*covers his arm with his left hand and blocks the attack* Heh! *flies back and lands on the ground, sliding back and quickly gets back into his stance, then smiles* Hah hah! That all you got? Bytaust-... Blue light converges onto Rush's body.. Rush-!! What the?! o_O Bytaust-*points hand at Rush, then in a corrupted voice, making it sound both like a woman and a man* Energy Blast! Rush-*the blue light traps him* Oh, no! o_O'' *a green light minor explosion occurs on Rush's body* Ugh! >_<

Renji-*arrives in front of the Blacksmith's house* Hmm.. He wanted us to leave the wood outside.. *drops the ropes to the ground then stretches a bit* Good workout! Kile-*arrives a few minutes later and falls forward, dropping the ropes* Ugh.. T_T Renji-Come on, Kile! Let's go, to Kraden's House! *heads in the direction of Kraden's house* Kile-*gets up slowly and is panting* Grr.. D-damn you, Renji.. *follows*

After a minute or two, they arrive somewhere behind Kraden's house..
???????(a man in a dark cloak)-Hmm, so Kraden's going to climb Mt. Lye.. ??????(a woman in a dark cloak)-That's what I heard. If we follow them, they can get through the puzzles of Mt. Lye and we can get the jewels.. ???????-Hmm, so they will be of some use.. Kile/Renji-*arrives near them* Renji-*sees them* Eh?.. Who are those people?.. Kile-Let's find out.. *walks towards them* Renji-W-wait, Kile.. *follows* Kile-Hey, you two there.. What are you doing? Mysterious Man-Hmm? *notices Kile and Renji* Huh.. What are we doing? Kile-Yeah.. This is my teacher's house and I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate it if you two are sneaking around his backyard.. Renji-*whispers to Kile* Umm, Kile.. If you haven't notice, that these two look dangerous.. Kile-What are you talking about? We can't even see their faces! Mysterious Man-*leaves* Alright, we're going.. But, you'll see us again.. Renji-*sees Rush and Bytaust* Hey, there's Rush and his robot.. Kile-*sees them* Oh.. Looks like they're training.. Renji-Mhm.. Well.. Shouldn't bug them. *walks towards the door* Kile-*follows*

A blue glyph appears underneath Rush.. Rush-*looks a bit wounded* !! Bytaust-*has some slashes on it's body* Holy Lance! *mutiple blue lances of light appear above Rush, then all of them launches at Rush* Rush-*jumps back, then aims his left hand at Bytaust* Take this! *hand transforms into a cannon gun, then fires out mutiple blue projectiles at Bytaust* Bytaust-*swings it's arms up and creates a force field to block the projectiles* ... Rush-*lowers his gun and stops* Damnit..

There is a knock on the door.. Jeena-Well, that must be them.. *stands up* I'll go get Kraden-sensei.. You go get the door, Kyro.. *heads upstairs* Kyro-*jumps up* Alright! Finally! *runs towards the door and opens it to Kile and Renji* Finally! What took you guys so long?.. -_- Renji-*pushes Kyro out of the way* Watch out, pee-wee.. Kyro-*falls down* Hey, don't call me pee-wee! I hate that! >_< Kile-*stays outside and watches Rush and Bytaust* ...

Mei-*continues sleeping, but wakes up eventually* Uh.. huh..? -_- *yawns* Ugh.. *gets up and notices Renji and Kile* Oh.. you're here.. great.. *falls back asleep* Zzz..

Meanwhile,
Rush-*slashes Bytaust couple of times* Bytaust-*blocks them with his hand, then swings his arm and hits Rush's rib* Rush-*blocks the attack with his sword, then slams the hilt of the sword into Bytaust* Bytaust-*gets hit and flies back a bit* ... *places it's hands on the ground, creating a blue circle* Get ready! *picks the circle up, then throws it at Rush* Rush-!! *rolls foward, going under the circle, then appears right in front of Bytaust, then does an uprising slash on it, causing it to freeze solid* Hyougajin! *lands back down from his attack, then wields his sword the reversed way and uses his left hand to hold the end of the hilt* I'll show you!! *points the sword at Bytaust, then thrusts it mutiple times, breaking the ice* Hyaah! Bytaust-*eyes glow red, then flames surround it's body and send Rush flying back* Rush-Aagh! Aaaahh!! >_< *crashes on his back on the ground* Ugh! Bytaust-*the ice around it's body melts away, and it's eyes glow yellow* ... *lightning sparks come out of it's body and falls down on one knee* Rush-... ow... I think.. we should.. stop.. @_@ Bytaust-... *falls over to the side* ...

Renji-*crumples up a piece of paper and throws it at Mei* Hey, wake up.. It's almost time to go.. -_- Jeena-*comes downstairs with a middle-aged man in his fifties* Alright, we're ready.. Kraden-Yes.. *looks at Renji* What took you two so long?.. Renji-Hey, we had work.. >_>

Mei-*gets hit in the forehead, then rubs* .. huh..? *opens eyes slowly, then yawns* Ugh..

Rush-*stands up slowly* I hate fighting you, damnit! You're so cheap with magic! >_< Bytaust-You're just jealous because you can't use magic.. Rush-What?! *points at himself* I don't need magic to become strong! >_< Magic is for cheap fighters! Bytaust-...

Sanctuary and Sanctum mean the same thing, basicly.. -_- Mei-... *yawns again* Ugh.. why do you two argue so much..?

Renji-Who cares! *jumps up and roundhouse kicks the air then lands back on ground* Let's just get going! Can't wait to see what kinds of monsters are there! Kile-Monsters?.. Why would there be monsters there, it's a sacred place.. Right? Kraden-Hmm, I'm not sure.. I don't really remember if there's any monsters or not.. Shouldn't be.. Kyro-Well, let's go, let's go! ^_^ *start skipping in the direction of the stairs leading to Sol Sanctum on the mountain* Renji-Hey!
