XBox 360 or Wii?

Okay. I'm going to get either an XBox or a Wii. Only problem is I don't which one I want more.

If I got an XBox 360, I could get XBox Live and play online with me Out of state friends. Not only that but It has a good selection of games.

If I got a Wii, I would not get to play online but I would be able to play the game with the cool motion sensor thing. And I would also have a good selection of games.

Which one should I get?

Don't even Suggest the Playstation 3. I'm not paying $600.

well when i had to choose i went with the 360 for no reason and i loved it,xbox live is great and cheap if u think about it.
the wii is good too but i cant tell u much about it.

if you like shooters and RTS like games, stuff like halo, shadowrun, command and conquer, FEAR, Gears of War, then get the 360.

if you like family games more, get the wii. its other games arent that great, only the first party ones.

definately xbox 360 - out performes the wii everytime!
GOW , Oblivion , F.E.A.R etc can never be played the same on a wii - my m8s got a wii and far cry vengeance + an xbox 360 with far cry instinct predator and he says that the 360 is by far the best!

This motion sensor stuff is a gimmick. In marketing language, a gimmick is a unique or quirky special feature that makes something "stand out" from its contemporaries. However, the special feature is typically thought to be of little relevance or use. Thus, a gimmick is a special feature for the sake of having a special feature.

Yea get an Xbox360 if your into the more non kiddy games ...

Well, I think I'm going to get the 360. Sounds like it has better games, Good online service, and is better the then Wii. Thank you everybody.

I went with the Wii... But yah it has ALOT of kiddie games. I'm getting Zelda pretty soon heard it was asome!
