They are both good in their own way, for Media I wouldn't recommend a Mac at all though, PC's are much more familiarized in it's time that it's been with us.

People say the Mac is a better designing computer, but I seriously disagree with this, I have to use mac computers for my teachings, and even though they are interesting in many ways, I would never say they are better at designing since I experienced this myself.

ya, i have to use macs at my school and nobody likes them. they feel weird after using pcs for all ur life and they just dont seem as smooth as a pc. i havnt really experienced too much media related stuff on macs but i seriously doubt its as good as a good ol' pc.

this is what i was looking for...

I am in a class that has all new iMac computers and they are impressive. i am used to windows but i am seriously considering getting a mac when i can afford it. the thing that scares me the most is if everything will still be compatable with it and all my programs and stuff will still work with it.
