Not a huge fan of playstations....of any generation, the PS1 came out at the right time (which is pure luck) and the PS2 was a powerful machine when it first came out, in my opinion the original xbox was much better than the ps2...tech wise and game wise...but sony held to much of the market for microsoft to make any real dint in there fan base.

I do agree that Xbox was more powerful, way more powerful (look at Ninja Gaiden, Dead or Alive Ultimate) then the PS2, but then again, kinda obvious, the Xbox came out years later, so they have the advantage.

yeah exactly, look at the Xbox 360...the PS3 is more powerful, but due to the late release its suffering a hangover from a slow start and lack of games. As did the xbox when it first came out. They either delay for better Tech specs and up the muscle of the console or, relese it early and take the next gen user base and the upper hand.

I like my PS3 but the lack of games at the moment means its not really being played a whole lot. Must admit that the F1 game I picked up for it looks brilliant and is easily the best graphically looking game I've seen so far on the PS3.

I think the XBox 360 is an amazing machine. Best Online game service, Great graphics, and great selection of games. The PS3 is more powerful but sucks because of the terrible timeing, price and lack of games.

PS1 was alright, something new, yes, innovative, sure, entertaining? Meh

PS2? Almost deathly perfect. Sony had the ball for this one. For a while, my PS2 prevented me from switching over to Microsoft.

PS3? TURNOVER ON DOWNS. Sorry Nitrous, but It's just not PS2... or even close. Only thing PS3 has is power, and even with that, Sony doesn't even use it. Not any of the games I've played anyway.

Well Ps1 was good but Ps2 is a big hit. Their biggest success was that. They've done everything right there. But same thing is not for PS3. Good but not that good.
