Assassin's Creed Review

Alrighty. What a game we have here. I'm not even all the way done with it but I can sure tell you what guys...

This game is amazing. It makes me want to crap my pants every time I play it. Here is my opinionated detailed breakdown of this game.

Story: Definitely not this game's strong point, but it makes more sense as it unfolds. It's one of those sci-fi things, a machine that doesn't even simply exist or shows sign of existing...But it seems cool. Though, the times you are Altir (which is 99% of the time) is great in terms of story. But it's like a miniature story.


Graphics: Gold. These graphics will looks excellent on any TV, Standard or HD. The landscapes are amazing, and the lighting is expertly done. The faces are neat in terms of showing scars or wrinkles.


Control: Despite what you may have heard, the controls are actually very nice and flow very nicely together. Yes the buttons still correspond to different parts of your body, but it makes A LOT of sense when you go through the tutorial.


Entertainment: This game will keep you entertained for a long while. I find myself anxiously awaiting to gather intel and assassinate my target whenever I step into a city. I've even stopped doing side quests for a while just so I could do it. However, is might get a little redundant for some people. I know after a while it does, because it's basically the same thing over and over. Go to a city, gather intel, kill your target, get ranked up(Power up, and weapon), then go to another city and do the same thing all over again.

This game is easily one of my favorites so far. I have only played the Xbox 360 version, I'm sure I can stand this up to the other consoles sporting this great game.

Verdict: 8.5/10


One of the only gripes I had really, is the fact you CANNOT swim, the redundancy, no Xbox Live, and the fact the game fails at one part of the physics engine...Killing near a building will usually end up with the enemy falling half into the building...like most games.

Though, despite all that, definitely a keeper.
