Tales of the Medallion

I'll probably be focusing on this RPG and Tales of the Mystic Orb (of MY RPGS) from now on..

This story happens on the continent of Tellius, the continent blessed by the Goddess Ashera.. 700 years before, there was once a Dark God that terrorized the land and caused the "Great Flood", a flood that sunk all the continents but Tellius. The Goddess Ashera, Lehern, Altina and Dheginsea fought and defeated the Dark God with the legendary blades, Ragnell and Alondite and the legendary blades that could ascend time, the Infinite Blade and Eternal Sword and sealed the Dark God in Lehern's medallion. The medallion then was sealed away in Lehern's home with the Infinite Blade and Eternal Sword, never to be seen again. When the Dark God sleeps, Ashera sleeps. Dheginsea, Altina, and Lehern made a promise to Ashera, saying that there would be no Great War that would ravage the land and consume all the countries of Tellius, for if that were to happen, the Dark God would awaken again. Ashera said that they were to avoid this for 1000 years. If they didn't keep their promise, Ashera wouldn't have any choice but to submerge the continent with all the rest and start over with a whole new one, also destroying the Dark God. So, they've kept this promise for 700 years so far..

PROLOGUE

Bike is a young mercenary. He is the son of Greil Gawain, Commander of the Greil Mercenaries. A fierce and ferocious attack from Daein against his home country of Crimea forced him to lead a small group of mercenaries on an investigation mission on an old highway, where he found the "supposed" Princess of Crimea, Elincia. She said that she didn't live in the castle with her King Father or Mother, because her Uncle, Commander of Crimea's Royal Knights, Renning Crimea, was named successor to the throne before she was born, so they wouldn't caused Internal Strife. Her Father and Mother have both been killed and nothing is known about Renning... So, Greil takes on the mission of taking Elincia to Gallia, the country of Beast Laguz and request help from King Gallia, Caineghis. But, things aren't always that easy.. They are being pursed viciously by Daein, trying to capture Elincia at every turn.

RACES

Beorc (Humans): Known as the Children of Wisdom, they are the most common race.

Laguz: Known as the Children of Power, they can transform into different animals, depending on the type. The three main types are Beast, Bird, and Dragon.

Branded: Small number of Beorc. Called "Parentless" by the Laguz, they have a distinct marking on their bodies that show they have a laguz ancestor. They have rare talents and age alot differently from Beorc.

MAINS: Main Characters are different, they change classes when a certain story event occurs (they become stronger and they get a new set of clothes).. So, you can make up your own Classes for Mains.. Or you could keep it simple and have them be one of the above classes.. It's up to you..

You can 11 total, Branded can only have 1-3. You can have 3 special allies (allies that can come into important story events) and you can an unlimited number of allies (can't come into important story events, though..)

Bio-Clyde is a part of the Greil Mercenaries. He is a very skilled twin swordsman. He has speed that is un-heard of and he's very atheltic. He dreams of one day becoming a Lord and living high-up and being rich. What he doesn't know is that he's the Clay Tagomai of this dimension/world/time. He will be the owner of the Infinite Blade one day... His Hi-Ougi; Sword Dance of Heaven/Hell. It can't be controlled, it happens when Clyde is in a near death situation. Bio-The son of Gaius Asgaror, a retired veteran soldier and an old friend of Bike's father Greil. With the sudden death of Gaius, Sol became part of the Greil Mercenaries. Being parentless, he looks up to Greil as a father figure and views everyone else as siblings which causes him to develop the determination to protect everyone he cares about. He posesses massive strength and endurance but lacks some speed overall. He is equiped with heavy armor and wears a forehead protector head band, belonging to his father which was used for protection against incoming arrows. He is also able to wield a two handed sword with one hand. However, he is clumsy and careless in real combat.

Because he bought the items with his own money, he forces everyone to pay for his items, a fact which annoys everyone. Bio-A cold, ruthless mercenary who has seen many battles before, far too many to count. Hundreds of years before, the Leviathan were once the most feared clan throughout Tellius. A formed alliance declared war on the Leviathans which had started the Leviathan wars generations ago. The Leviathans had lost after a fierce long war and the surviving descendants had all seperated from one another which had decided their fate of extinction. Despite their loss, they have no grudge against Tellius and it's nations. Laiun is a sadistic and shows no mercy towards his enemies, making him a vicious fighter in combat. He is incredibly slow, however and could possibly be the slowest fighter.

A young girl with light brown hair and bright blue eyes, wearing a yellow dress that goes above her knees (like a mini-skirt, bascially) is hiding in the bushes with a young woman who looks royal, she has green hair and green eyes and is wearing an orange dress and a young boy with yellow-green hair and green eyes, wearing shorts and a light blue t, with light-weight armor on... Wil-*is sweating* ... Mist-*looking through the bushes, at the soldiers* ... Elincia-... Then, a soldier face appears in the bushes.. Mist-!! Soldier-*pops out of the bush* Hey!! I found the Princess, she's-- Then, a arrow flies at the soldier and hits him right between the eyes.. Soldier-Uaaghh!! *falls down on knees and dies* Soldiers-?! Soldier 1-We.. We're under attack!! ?????-Greil Mercenaries, attack!! Then, out of nowhere a small group of people come from out of the bushes and starts to attack the soldiers.. This is the Greil Mercenaries.

Sol-*quickly draws out his sword, wielding it with one hand and slashes the soldier in front of him* Huaah! *quickly sheathes his sword, then tackles the soldier* Deih! *quickly draws out his sword and does a strong upper* ..Terriah!! ((Critical strike, soldier loses 700 hp)) A spear flies at the same soldier, which instantly ends his life.. ((Soldier loses rest of hp and dies)) Sol-... *looks at the direction of where the spear flew from* A cold, dark figure with long blue hair and red eyes often mistaken for the Devil's is standing near Sol.. Laiun-... *looks at Sol, simply smiling and takes out an axe* A small, young boy wearing simple clothing appears standing in front of Mist, Wil and Elincia's location.. Orca-*makes symbols with his hands, then aims it at a soldier* Bolt! A thin lightning bolt strikes the soldier, shortly followed by a strong thunder bolt afterwards.. ((Soldier loses 500 hp))

A young man (looks like guy in my sig) is running at a soldier, with his sword drawn and he quickly swipes the soldier then trusts him. This is Bike... Bike-Yah! Soldier 2-*blocks the attacks and counters by pushing Bike back then thrusting him with lance* Bike-*gets pushed back and is off guard, about to get lanced by the soldier* !! Then, an arrow flies at the soldier, hitting him right between the eyes, killing him.. ((Soldier 2 loses all of HP)) ??????-Geez, Bikey-Poo.. At least pretend to be serious, would you? You can't be fighting seriously right now.. Bike-*looks back, to see a man of about 20, wearing brown pants and a green shirt, with light-weight armor and shoulder, knee, and elbow pads on and he has a long, red ponytail and he has brown eyes and he has a special kind of bow in his hands and has a quiver on his back* S-Shinon... Shinon-*yawns and aims bow at another soldier and takes out an arrow and loads and fires, hitting the soldier in his lance arm* ((Another Soldier loses 300 HP)) Then, a huge man in heavy-purple armor, with a steel lance in his hands comes out of the bushes and thrusts the same soldier.. Gatrie-Yaahhh!! ((Soldier loses rest of HP)) Then, chanting can be heard and wind starts to circle around two soldiers and then it starts to cut and pierce them.. ????-Air Thrust!! The soldiers then fly into the air and crash into trees.. ((Two Soldiers lose consciousness, leaving ten soldiers left))

A grey haired sly, thin man wearing a dark grey outfit with a mask covering his mouth quickly dashes at the nearest soldier.. Hanzo, a mystreious but deadly ninja who specializes in scouting and assassination. Hanzo-... *takes out a kunai, then leaps foward* Hm! *quickly slashes through the soldier, slashing backwards afterwards and ends the soldier's life with a clean slice* ((Soldier loses all hp)) A rather large man, wearing medium sized red armor which goes with his dark red hair comes charging in from the bushes, slashing any soldier in his way. Rocks, a once veteran soldier now retired. Rocks-*slashes one soldier, then tackles into another* One two! *spins slashes three soldiers in a row, then jumps up and slams down his axe on another soldier, killing him instanly* Three, four, five and SIX! ((Five soldiers loses 500 hp, one soldier loses all)) Rocks-*gets up* Yeah! Bring it on!! I'll crush all of you into dust! A soldier appears behind Rocks, preparing an attack.. Suddenly an arrow hits the soldier in the chest. ((Soldier of the five wounded by Rocks dies)) Rocks-Ah! *turns around* W-whoa.. o_O'' In the distant, there is a young, blonde haired woman wearing light regular clothing with a red headband around her head.. Tima-... *takes out another arrow* You're too c0cky.. Rocks-... Shut up. >_> A soldier rushes at Sol and slashes him. Sol-*notices the soldier and blocks his attack* Agh! Soldier-*pushes Sol back* Grr! Sol-*makes a keen eye* (Here!) *quickly pushes the soldier back, making him sliding across the ground and prepares to slash him for a critical hit* E-eh! *a delay occurs and then slashes at slow pace* Tah! Soldier-Agh..! *quickly runs back at Sol and slashes him* Sol-!! (D-Damn!) Laiun-*jumps high into the air and slams his axe into the soldier attacking Sol, killing him* ... Soldier-!! Gaagh!! ((Soldier loses all hp)) Laiun-*lands in front of Sol* Sol-... *looks away* ..mhm..

A young woman with short purple hair, wearing a white head-band, has purple eyes and she is wearing an orange top, with an orange mini skirt, with long brown boots that cover the rest of her legs and she is wearing light-brown elbow pads and brown gloves with the tips cut off (showing her fingers) and has a sheath on her side is running at a soldier, with her sword drawn.. Tylia-Hey-yah! *appears in front of the soldier and does a quick, acrobatic backflip, slashing the soldier in the process and raising him into the air then her sword glows* Heh.. THERE! *jumps up and upward slashes the soldier then slams her sword into him, causing him to crash into the ground* ((Another soldier dies)) Tylia-*lands on ground and holds sword up into the air and winks* Heh.. Critical Hit! ^_^ Then, a soldier appears behind Tylia and knocks her down into the ground then gets ready to spear her.. Tylia-*lands on ground* Oof! *quickly rolls over and notices the soldier* !! Bike-*quickly runs and appears in front of Tylia and blocks the soldier's strike* Ngh-- Tylia-Ohh, Biiike~~ Mars-*was chanting* ...Fireball! *points hand at the soldier, causing fire balls to appear and hit the soldier in the back* ((Soldier loses 300 HP)) Soldier-Ngh.. *turns around, facing Mars* Why, you-- Bike-*quickly slashes the soldier, finishing him off* ((Soldier loses rest of HP)) Shinon-Alright... Time to end this nonsense.. *takes out a bunch of arrows from his quiver and loads them into his bow and he aims his bow into the sky* Take this.. *fires his bow, causing the arrows to fly into the sky then rain down on the remaining soldiers, ending their lives* ... ((Rest of Soldiers lose rest of HP, battle over)) Gatrie-*sighs* ... Wil-*looks around* Is it.. Over? Bike-*sheathes sword* Yeah.. Tylia-*jumps up and embraces Bike* Oh, Bike! You're sooo herroo~~iiicc! Bike-... Mars-*looks around* These soldiers.. Weren't very skilled.. Shinon-Right.. It was about as fun as shooting apples off trees.. *puts bow on back* But, we have to hurry and get out of here.. Commander Greil, Titania, Clyde, and Rhys are probably distracting the main force right now.. This is the best chance to get going to Castle Gallia.. *shudders* Compared to this forest, even a kingdom of sub-humans is heaven.. [Bike's Journal: Day 1, Month 1: This is the first day of me writing in my journal.. I've have just fought my first battle ever. And.. It was more challenging then I thought it would be. I'll have to get better at fighting if I'm ever going to be better and succeed my father.. We're on our way, escorting Princess Crimea, Elincia, to the kingdom of.. "Sub-Humans", Shinon calls them. She says that King Gallia can help her restore her fallen country.. I sure hope so.. I want to go back home, as soon as possible..]

Laiun-Hmm, hmm.. Orca-... *coughs, then puts on glasses and takes out a notebook, along with a feather quill* ... Rocks-Alright! Let's get to our destination, then! Let's rock! Sol-*sighs with relief* Laiun-Hmm? What's wrong, Sol? Sol-Nothing.. I'm just glad there aren't any casualties. Laiun-You actually thought one of us was going to get injured during this fight? Sol-Well.. It's possible. Even if those soldiers weren't tough, one of us could have gotten hurt. Laiun-Like you? You almost got yourself into trouble if it weren't for me.. Sol-U-Uh.. shut up. Laiun-You sure like to hesitate alot in battle. Don't be scared to swing your sword at someone, if it means to survive.. Sol-... Hanzo-... *crosses his arms, keeping quiet* Tima-So, are we going to get going now? Let's hurry up and get this so called princess to the castle.. Orca-You're so impatient, Tima.. Tima-Shut up, kid. Orca-And you're awfully mean.. Laiun-Say.. Where's Matalight? Rocks-He's probably with Bike's old man, Clyde and the others! Damn b@stard! He gets to battle the good fighters! Mars-*looks at Rock* That's something we want to avoid.. If that were to happen, for one thing, there would be alot more of them.. And secondly, they would be alot tougher.. We have people with us that can't fight. It'd be a challenge to protect them and fight off the incoming soldiers.. So, think before you talk.. Elincia-... Bike-*sighs and rubs head* ...We should hurry up and get going, before more soldiers come... My father-..
