Just a small thread, something to throw in the nearly dead Trash Talk. The point of this thread is to.. well.. discuss random topics. Somebody starts a certain topic and we start discussing about it until somebody changes the topic or until this thread dies. Think of it as some kind of chat room or something.. I dunno. The topics can be about anything really. Just nothing offensive.

Well, I'll start off. The first topic will be about modern-day television shows.

... Is it just me, or does watching television feel like some kind of insane purgatory? Am I the only who feels like this?! The only thing interesting on TV is the news and I'm dead serious.. That's ridiculous.

Meh the channels I watched as a kid, Nick, Disney, and CN, have all gone down the tube. Maybe it's just my attitude towards kid's shows now but these dont have the epicness that the ones that aired when I was a kid had. All I watch now is Discovery Channel and Comedy Central, add in some Family Guy and thats my TV watching

Well only thing i really i watch on tv is MTV and anime on adult swim

I never watch TV anymore. I just watch movies and crap like that. All my favorite shows are off atm but will hopefully be back in Jan.

I seriously miss some of the old cartoons back in the day. Does anyone remember watching Animaniacs? That show was awesome! Wow.. I was watching some clips on Youtube and I had a major nostalgic moment.

Rocko's Modern Life, Aaah Real Monsters, Pinky and the Brain, Tom and Jerry, Dexter's Laboratory, etc, etc. You don't find shows with this quality anymore

Tom and Jerry still comes on. I watch it whenever I possibly can. But I really miss the shows I used to be able to watch every day before I went to kindergarden. >_> Ever since then, I've never been able to watch ANYTHING. >_<

Fuϲking YES! I still get a whole lot of songs from that show in my mind all the time, and it was funny as all hell! Finally someone else that has heard of it =P

I usually watch Discovery Channel, Comedy Channel, sometimes the free to air channels if there's anything good on. I mostly end up watching science-y programs as they're what interest me most, as well as some cartoons like Sponge Bob. I don't care, I find it funny =P

I've got a nice collection of DVD's though, which are good to watch... A lot of TV series, Music and movies so I don't get too bored of watching stuff, I just have to be in the mood of watching TV or the like first..

Lol, so random. But so brilliant. Warner Bros made some of the coolest cartoons ever.

Ya KidsWB before and during the Pokemon Johto time was awesome. Jackie Chan, Freakazoid, Batman The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, pinky and the brain, tiny toon adventures, etc etc etc. Today cartoons are porrly wirtten. Well they can be good for the first season or two but they become uncreative fast.

Ohhh. I miss Jackie Chan. That was a good show. So was Pokémon up until they got to the Hoenn region. Then it just got stupid.

I agree about the cartoons being poorly written though. Ben 10 disgusts me completely now. >_>

Thats the thing Ben10 seems like a kiddish show but it intrested me. Now they grew up and I'm not feeling it. And pokemon died for me when they fired the old cast.

Cartoon Network died for me when they put Miguzi in the place of Toonami. Toonami what the sh*t man. They showed Dragonball Z, Outlaw Star, Gundam, Yu Yu Hakshow or whatever. They had all the good shows.
