Fable 2

Been watching its progress for a while, and even a few months back I subscribed to the email updates. Release date has been set at October 23 for quite a while. Anyone else anticipating this seemingly vastly improved sequel to Fable?

Im looking forward to it immensly. I never played the first Fable but I like the ideas that Moleyneux (sp?) has put into it. However I am not happy that Microsoft had problems with the Limited edition's goodies and also the lack of online co-op in the release build. At least the 2nd can be fixed using Live.

This is true. That is one of the main reasons I really like XBL. They can apply updates and whatnot to the game and expand upon the content. Would be interesting to see what online modes they could come up with.

I also find it interesting you can have a dog in this one. Don't really see the point to it, but hey, it could be interesting =p.

yea im gettin this game but im not so fond about(some stuff) mostly the dog thing and how it follows you around and all i dont care how many evil points i get i refuse to carry around so dog..(not against animals or nothing its jus that i cant see why a armor wearing sword busting lightning shooting gunman would need some dog to help him fight...i mean really coundt the enemy shot the dog point blank and hurt it


and when it comes to the guns i can already see it happening...you versus some boss with a super-gun...yes i can tell its gonna happen and seeing as how some will be using a sword it comes down to this lil formula i made up

gun vs sword=gun

espcially against the super power gun boss who will probably shoot you and take a good chunk of health out
