I guess a 450 W PSU might be ok, and whats with the Nividia 6100? isnt that a mobile device chipset?

I mean for $300 it's really a matter of you get what you pay for. Are you going to be using it for surfing or playing games like crysis?

not so much crysis as steam-based games.
but we decided against it, and got a refurbished eMachine with all the same stuff, a slightly smaller harddrive, a better graphics card, and no vista ultimate or office professional. I wasn't gonna use any of that anyway, so I'm happy (:

i think that motherboad was slightly better, but i can't see the page on eBay anymore...sooo...i can't confirm it xDDD

its $80 usd cheaper, though, and with upgraded stuff, the only difference is the version of vista and no programs I'm not gonna use anyway, and it's not new.

according to the guy we bought it from, it can run crysis, cod5, cod4, stuff like that.

its an eMachine, but it's not factory standard, like he changed everhthing in it, so it wont suck.

Yeah I'm with chilli on this haha, more of a console gamer nowadays

Only stuff I play on PC now are retro games...and Crysis and BF2142 from time to time

Crysis looks like **** on my computer though, only bought it because I know it will never, ever get released onto console -_-

Still an incredible game though!

PC gaming pisses me off, My PC has much better specs than either console, yet we don't get half the performance. It comes down to lazy programming, instead of pushing the hardware like console developers do, it's just assumed that whoever will have a good pc. Its forcing the PC gaming industry out

I just got up, and I have pretty much everything I want on it minus games installed. the problem is, ****ing firefox won't load themes, and the whoooole computer freezes whenver i try to open the add-ons page.

That's weird.. firefox has been acting funny for me too, but I think i've some adware killing something somewhere (to be technical)

Yeah, that might be the problem with mine too. I gotta see if the two people who owned my compie before have had the same problem. then. It might be the stuff in the computer.
