[Magoseong]

A side story for a side story? In a way, it's an alternative to Tales of Infinity. Ties in with Tales of Dreams.



PLOT
Suffering from sheer boredom, the enigmatic Vampire Mistress known as Tyra places curses on several individuals by having them eat Devil Fruits. These curses grant them unique abilities but strips them of their former abilities and as well as their ability to swim. The group of cursed individuals become contestants known as Devils who all participate in Tyra's game. A game of survival, where each contestants are to hunt down one another relentlessly in an agressive attempt to kill each other. The winner (last man standing) is given a fraction of Tyra's magic, equivalent to the powers of a God.

And both of you are in. I'm not sure if anyone else is going to join, so I'm just going to go ahead and start.

Tales of Old

The power of a God.. For some, they consider it to be the very ability to control all the cosmos, the ability to distort the laws of life and lead worlds to corruption.. The ability to create miracles. It is a power that all mortals desire.."

It appears that I possess some of this so called power. For that, I given a group of special individuals a rare opportunity to harness some of of own power, granting them the attributes of a deity. It was a game of survival.. and it shall serve as entertainment. Afterall, I am in desperate need of amusement.

Each contestant was marked with the curse of a Devil. It is this very curse that will aid the contestant on their struggle for victory, or lead them to their demise.

I wonder.. who will come out on top? Or will there be a winner at all..? All the contestants don't intrigue me. I don't have expectations for any of them.

I suppose that is why I decided to bring him into this.. because, somehow.. He manages to make everything interesting.

Opening Theme

A young boy is seen falling from the sky. He is dressed in a red vest over a black undershirt and a pair of white pants. His hair is black as night, a long ponytail dances around as the boy quickly approaches the ground. A trail of saliva is seen left behind, the boy surprisingly sound asleep.

"Zzz.." The boy tilts his head to the side. "... Pork chops.." He drools out a waterfall, as his stomach is heard growling monsterously.



EPISODE 1; Reunion! The boy who made a promise!

"Damnit.. This.. really isn't worth anything! Why do I have to stuck with this senile chick?"

The Young Sorceress' Foul Mood

A young girl in yellow and red, and big cleavage is seen arguing with a shady character with pointy ears, who's wearing a wizard/sheriff hat. This is Yukimaru and Aida respectively.

"Why are you acting so cold recently?! You're supposed to be my beloved bodyguard~!!" Whines Yukimaru, bawling her eyes out and looking very upset. "B-But you left me back there with all those scary monsters!! I thought I was going to die!!"

"YOU!!" Aida yells at Yukimaru furiously, revealing a huge mouth filled with fangs. "YOU left ME behind!! I was stuck in that chasm for hours because of your stupid clumsy ass!! And I had to climb my way out because YOU said you didn't really need me!!"

Yukimaru gives a devious, funny look at Aida. "... I thought you could have easily climbed out of that pit."

"Do you have any idea how DEEP it was?!" Aida clenches his fists, looking as if he's getting ready to punch Yukimaru. "You brat!!"

A huge crashing explosion is heard from a distance.

Both Yukimaru and Aida are startled from the impact. They look ahead at a village.

"... What was that?" Aida lifts his hat up a bit.

"Sounds like it came from Mystic Village." Yukimaru places her hand above her eyes and zooms in.

Aida crosses his arms. "Might be an enemy attacking! Let's go." He tries to say that in a dark, serious tone.

The two quickly head for Mystic Village.

Lurking behind them, a shadowy figure stalks the two, leaving behind a faint laugh that echoes throughout the plains..

"Hahaha.."


Meanwhile, in Mystic Village where everything is cloaked by white snow.

Freezing Kalt

A boy wearing damaged clothing is lying flat on his back in the middle of street. There's a crater of snow and some rock underneath. A snot bubble is seen coming out his nose, growing and shrinking, in and out..

A few villagers (children) surround the boy, looking confused and dazzled. One of the children, a young boy wearing a red bandana is seen poking the boy with a wooden sword.

"I-Is.. he alive..?"

"Still breathing.. I can practically hear him snoring.."

The boy rolls over to the side, scaring off the group of children, who all jump back in shock. "... Ngh.. Zzz.. Roast beef.."

[Jack]

A fairly tall man approaches the boy. He has black, medium length spiked hair. He is wearing black sunglasses, a black leather jacket over a plain white t-shirt and black trousers. Hanging off the side of his belt is a large sheath, inside of which rests the man's sword.

Gray walks towards the boy, paying no attention to anyone else. He pulls his sword from it's sheath and places the end of the blade flat on agaisnt the boy's neck, hoping the cold metal will draw some kind of reaction from him.

[Admiral44]

A young boy, who looks a miniature Clay Tagomai is seen kneeling beside the boy, on the opposite side of Gray, poking him. "Ehh... You guys don't need to worry! This guy's still alive... I think..." The boy then jumps up, snapping. "Ahh, I know! I'll get Kas-niisan! He'll know what to do!"

Suddenly, as if on que, a young man with long green hair is seen approaching, rubbing his head. "For the last time, Clarth... I'm NOT your older brother. Get that through your head!!" he practically shouts.

Clarth looks back at the young man, making a pouty face. "Poo~ But, you heard what Dad said! He acknowledged me as his son! So, that makes you my Nii-san!"

Kas looks away, looking embarrassed. "Tsk."

Since the discontinuation of Tales of Infinity, it looks like Klaus Tagomai, or Father Tagomai, if you will, decided to go take on the plot of Tales of Infinity alone... Whatever that might have been...

[Magoseong]

The boy yawns, then rolls over again. He seems to be ignoring Gray's sword (the fact that he's sleeping in snow with bad clothing probably means he's a heavy sleeper).

The boy with the red bandana approaches the boy again and stands beside Gray. He looks up. "Man.. How weird. He comes crashing here like a meteor and manages to sleep through this climate. Is he a monster?" He gives a concerned stare at the boy's face. "Huh.. He kinda looks like.. my dad's friend."

Yukimaru suddenly appears beside the boy, staring down at the boy with a gleeful face. "Oh~ Quite an adorable child! Sleeping so innocently~ Oh, I could just squeeze him to my heart's content!" Her face blushes into a bliss, as her arms slowly reaches for the boy.

The red bandana boy quickly jumps back by surprise and points a wooden sword at Yukimaru. "Who the hell-?!! O-oh!"

Aida appears in front of the boy and smacks the wooden sword away. "Don't mess around.. And--" Aida quickly pulls Yukimaru back. "And you!! Cut it out! You're making our clan look bad!!"

The red bandana boy falls down on his bottom, staring at the two in annoyance. "Gr! Hey..!" He gives another look at the two and realizes who they are. "Huh? You guys.. are Hamistu?"

Yukimaru pushes Aida away and looks down at the red bandana boy. "And you're an Alvein, aren't you? You're Kliser's son, Kevin? You bear a strong resemblance to him! Which is a good thing, hmm hmm~"

Kevin (the red bandana boy) blushes in embarassment for recieving what appeared to be a compliment from a gorgeous woman. "Gah.. Shut up! I don't need you to be saying stuff like that.. !" He gets up and stomps his feet hard on the ground. "G-gr..! What's Hamistu doing here?!"

Aida lifts his hat up. "Official business - not something you should be concerned about. By the way, we heard an explosion.. Is this place alright?"

Kevin points at the boy. "That would be him! He.. he just fell from the sky above and crashed right there!"

Aida and Yukimaru both make a surprised face.

Aida looks up, lifting his hat higher. "... The sky.. ?! You mean.. up above?! Is he dead, then..!?" He looks at the boy.

Kevin shakes his head. "N-no..! He's just asleep."

Aida looks at Kevin, looking awed and amazed. His mouth drops, revealing a wave of sharp fangs. "JUST ASLEEP?!" Saliva flies out from his mouth. "H-hey! We should get this guy to a doctor! He could near death!!" He points at the boy. As everyone stares at the boy, his nose blows out a bigger snot bubble. A loud stomach growl is also hearding, and the words "meat" keep slipping out the boy's mouth, along with drool.

Everyone has a sweatdrop sliding down the side of their heads.

Aida facepalms, looking embarassed. "Damnit..! I always heard that weird things happen to this place.. But.. this is.." He shakes his head. "Never mind.. I guess this isn't really all that important." He looks around. "Do any of you know where we can find Cia?"

Kevin shakes his head. "Cia-san's not here."

Aida gives Kevin a strange glare. "Huh? Then.. The Elder?"

Kevin scratches his head. "I think Cia's our elder."

Aida looks kinda worried. "... Okay, what about.. Headmaster?"

Kevin shrugs. "What's a headmaster?"

Aida looks annoyed. "Is there anyone who's in charge here?! What about.. Your father?! I suppose we can talk to him!"

Kevin looks depressed. "Dad's not here either."

Aida slaps his hand over his forehead. "What the hell..?! Where is everyone!? Damnit! Our own Elder is gone too!! Is that a coincidence?"

Kevin looks a little confused. "You mean perverted hermit Junko? What happened to him?"

[Jack]

Gray pulls his sword away and slides it back into it's sheath. He then turns to Kevin.

"Junko is probably chasing down young girls... again." Gray's voice is deep and gruff. He sounds a lot older than 25.

[Admiral44]

Kas looks at everyone, having a blank expression. "It's my brother's fault. He caused some kind of... Space-Time explosion when playing around and caused himself and a few others to disappear without a trace. I'm pretty sure Junko was with him at the time." Kas then shrugs. "And, my sister, Cia, went looking for them. She found a lead. She dragged off Shige-san with her..." Kas continues, no one obviously caring about Shigeki. There's then a sudden gleam in Kas's eye. "And since both my older sister and older brother are gone, you'll just have to talk to me, the great hero Kas Tagomai! Hahahaha! I'm better, anyway!"

Clarth looks up at Kas. "But, Kas-niisan, you're not in charge of the village while Cia-neesama is gone." says Clarth, innocently.

Kas then suddenly turns to stone. "Gah!"

Clarth then looks up at the group, gleaming. "But, if it's food this kid needs, I know a great cook!" Clarth then approaches Cho's ankles and grabs them. "Follow me!" he then walks off, dragging Cho along. Ehh... This seems kind of familiar...

[Magoseong]

Kevin approaches the other children nearby (assumed to be his friends) and quickly discusses something with them. The children appear to be getting ready to leave, as Kevin approaches Kas cheerfully. He looks at Clarth. "Ah, ah! Are we going to eat at that place? I went there twice! It's really great!" He drags Kas and follows Clarth gleefully. He looks back at Gray, Aida and Yukimaru. "You guys should come with us too! It's a really good place!"

Yukimaru claps her hands together. "Oh! That reminds me! We haven't ate anything ourselves, Ai-chan!" She gives Aida a cute glare. "Hmm hmm! I never ate here before! I wonder what the food's like..! I hope they serve strawberry hamburgers here!" Yukimaru follows everyone.

Aida gives Yukimaru a dirty look. "Er.. Strawberry hamburgers? Agh.. Don't we have more important issues to be worrying about? Oh.. Whatever.. It can't be helped with."

Cho is still fast asleep. Snow manages to sneak inside his wrecked clothes.. he doesn't seem to care all that much. "Zzz.."

Meanwhile, a few meters back.. a shade creeps up on the group quickly. "Now's the time..!!"

Aida sighs. "Hey!" He looks up ahead and takes a step forward. "Wait up for--" Suddenly, a flash flies past Aida's head.

Yukimaru looks back at Aida, looking a bit concerned. "What's wrong, Ai-chan? What's keeping you--"

Freezing Kalt abruptly ends.

Aida quickly dashes at everyone, swinging his arm across. "All of you!! Get out of the way!!"

Kevin looks back, looking a bit shocked. "Huh..?!"

Like a bolt of lightning, a sharp beam of light zips through the street and heads straight for the group (it passes by Aida). A large broadsword appears in Aida's right hand.

A man in black wrappings appears above Yukimaru.

Yukimaru looks up, caught off guard with a terrified face. "A-ah!"

The man's hands transforms into giant sharp razor claws. "Die.." A cold utter echoes faintly.

SLASH!! CLANK.

Difficult

In the nick of time, Aida appears in front of Yukimaru. He blocked the mysterious man's attack with his sword.

"You!! Who the hell are you..?!" Aida pushes the man back slightly. "Tch! You got some nerve attacking us.."

"... Sorry. I just can't help myself whenever I see such a lovely woman." The myserious man politely answers while effortlessly pushing Aida back. Aida is seen struggling.

Yukimaru is seen sitting on the ground, staring up in awe. She looks quite frightened. "A-ah.. Excuse me?" She smiles nervously.

"I dunno why.. but I always find it pleasant whenever a young woman is ripped apart by my magnificent claws."

Yukimaru sweatdrops. "Uhm.. That sounds very violent~!"

Aida looks a little disgusted. "W-what the hell?! The hell's your problem, you damn sicko!?"

Kevin jumps up and points at the man, recognizing him easily. "That's the infamous Lady Killer Soneji!! U-uhm.. What's he doing here?" He looks at Kas, then at Clarth. He seems pretty calm.

[Jack]

"More than likely trying to kill a lady common sense tells me." Gray points out, rather sarcastically but serious at the same time.

He is tightly grasping the hilt of his sword, which funnily enough nobody seemed to see him pull out of it's sheath. Gray has a knack for sensing danger and right now his senses are running overtime.

"Anyway, I don't really care much for his name or what he does. If he wants to cause trouble, then he can try. But I very much doubt he'll get very far with me and Aida up agaisnt him."

Gray also has a knack for being rather over-confident at times...

[Admiral44]

Kas suddenly returns to normal from stone, and focuses on the Lady Killer. "Err... I dunno." Kas then holds his head and sighs. "But, ever since Nii-san and Cia-neesama have been gone, weirdos have been showing up left and right!! It's ridiculous!"

Clarth looks up at Gray, jumping up and down, ignoring everyone else. "Hey, hey! Don't forget about Kas-niisan! He's pretty tough, too!" whines Clarth.

Kas looks down at Clarth, smoke coming out of his head. "Don't be stupid! If these two can handle it, they can handle it! Leave it alone!" Kas then focuses on Soneji, serious now. "All though... People like him do grind my gears."

[Magoseong]

Aida slowly turns and looks at Gray. "... Er, who are you by the way?"

Soneji snickers strangely. "Oh? You two wish to fight? Pardon me.. but I'm actually after someone else. So, if you would kindly--"

Aida pushes Soneji back. "Sorry pal! But I'm not letting you harm the dumb chick!!" Actually, it's more like he can't let him hurt her.

Soneji snickers again. "Oh? I'm afraid you misunderstood! Though her beauty managed to excit me a bit, I'm actually here to kill someone else.. So, I would appreciate if you were to--" Suddenly, Soneji's claws go right through Aida's blade - they swipe across his chest, leaving behind nasty scratches.

Aida staggers back, looking surprised. "Gah!!"

"Get out of my way!!!" Soneji swipes his claws upward, firing out a shockwave that sends Aida flying. He crashes into a nearby house.

Yukimaru places her hands against her cheeks, looking terrified in a comical way. "A-Ai-chan!!" She looks back at Soneji. "Oh, crap! I'm gunna die!" She thinks outloud.

Soneji flicks his claws, then places them against his hips. He approaches Yukimaru and looks as if he's ready to attack her.

Yukimaru shuts her eyes, sweating a bit.

Soneji simply walks past Yukimaru, acting as if he just completely ignored her. "Don't worry, dear.. I'll finish you off later.. Right now, my primary target is.." He looks at Cho, who's still asleep.

Yukimaru starts to bawl, with a nervous smile. "Heh heh.."

"Zzz.. Zzz..." Cho rolls over.

Kevin looks at Soneji. "Tch! You better get out of here, weirdo! We handle your kind before easily! I'm not scared of you!"

Soneji flicks his claws again. "Oh, shut up.." He swings his claw across, emitting a sharp wave of wind that pushes everyone around Cho away.

Kevin is seen flying, crashing flat on his back. "Ugh! Ow, ow..!!"

Soneji appears in front of Cho, looking down at him. "Hmm.. Interesting. So he managed to survive my attack. But it matters not.. This man is surely going to die by my hands." He sighs. "Pity.. He was such a boring foe. With such little strength.."

Kevin shakes his head and looks up at Soneji. "H-huh..!? Wait a minute!! You're going to kill that guy?!" He looks at Cho. "Agh! Hey!! Wake up!!"

Cho simply ignores Kevin and continues to sleep.

Soneji scoffs. "It's no use. Now.. For the fateful blow!!" He quickly jabs his claws downward, striking Cho.

THUD!

The music stops.

Soneji remains motionless. Suddenly, he staggers back. "W-what..?!"

Cho, who still looks like he's asleep, is seen grabbing ahold of Soneji's claws. He pushes them back effortlessly.

Soneji struggles a bit. "Agh! What the..?! This can't be..?! Is he awake..?!"

Cho suddenly gives a grin. "Hey.." He opens his eyes, revealing a childish face. "Don't you know it's rude to try and kill someone who's asleep?!!"

"Ough!!"

Intro

In an instant, the childish boy quickly stands up and lifts Soneji off the ground. "You b@stard..!!" He yells cheerfully as he swings Soneji over his head and slams her HARD into the ground behind him. "Aargh!!"

A giant rocky crater appears underneath Soneji on impact. "Aggh!!"

Kevin stares at Cho in awe. "A-ah.. W-whoa..!!"

Cho stands up straight, looking down at Soneji. "That's for attacking me from behind, you jerk!!" He slides his thumb across his nose. "Heh heh! ... Oh?" He looks around. "What the? Where am I? What's with all this snow?" He saids with glee, looking excited and amazed. "Haha! Cool! I never seen this much snow before!"

Aida is seen crawling out from rubble. He slowly approaches everyone and notices Cho and Soneji. "Huh? What the hell? That kid..?"

Cho looks at his clothes, noticing how badly worn out they are. "Damnit! You wrecked my outfit too!" He looks down at Soneji. "You really are a sucky fighter!"

Kevin gets up and approaches Cho. "H-hey! Who.. who are you, mister?" He asks politely.

Cho looks at Kevin. "Oh? Who.. Me?" He points at himself with a thumb. "The name's Cho! Chopin!"

Kevin looks surprised. "C-Cho..!? You mean.. Cho as in..?! Cho?!"

Cho stares at Kevin dumbfounedly. "Hmm? What's wrong? What's with the dumb look?"

Yukimaru stares at Cho. "... That's Cho of the Mystic Warriors? But.. I heard he's an adult now! Why is he so young here..? Don't tell me.."

Soneji quickly jumps up and lands on his feet. He confronts Cho. "Grr..! You..!! How dare you..!! Heh.. You think you can easily defeat me?! Even if you're councious, I'm still going to win!!"

Cho pats Kevin on the head. "Anyways.. Can you tell me a place where I can eat? I'm freakin starving! Haha!"

Soneji notices Cho ignoring him. Red veins pop out from his head.
"G-Grr..!! GAAH!! Don't ignore me!! I'll enjoy killing you!!" He yells as he dashes at Cho from behind, laughing along the way.

Kevin steps back. "Ah!! Watch out!!" He points behind Cho.

"Uh?" Cho looks clueless. He seems to be quite oblivious here. "What?" He slowly looks back - but it's too late, Soneji delivers a STRONG swipe that sends Cho flying. "W-wuah!!!"

Kevin is seen ducking, dodging Cho. "Ah!!" He looks back. "C-Cho..!!"

Soneji snickers loudly. "Hahaha!! Die!!"

"Owuaaahhh!!! OOOOHH NOOOOO!!!" Cho is heard yelling in frenzy as he flies through the street. He quickly grabs ahold of a pole in the middle of the street and his arm is seen stretching long like.. rubber? This causes mostly everyone around to be shocked, making a (O_o) face.

Soneji gasps. "What..?!"

Cho stops mid-air, his arm is seen stretched out long. He lands safetly on the ground, giving out a funny grin. "Heh heh!" He glares at Soneji, taking aim. "Gotcha!"

Soneji looks worried. "Damnit!"

Yukimaru looks at Cho, whistling. "Whoa! What in the world..?!"

Battle Theme Activated!

Cho pulls back a bit, getting ready for an attack.

"GUM... GUM...!!!"

Soneji quickly turns around and attempts to flee. "Ah! Hah!! You won't hit me--!!"

"ROCKET!!!!"

Cho flings himself forward, launching himself like a propelled rocket. He heads straight for Soneji and tackles him from behind. A loud crack is heard throughout the street.

Soneji gags out saliva. "Uaagh!!" He is sent flying forward - he crashes into a metal pole that is bends by Soneji's impact. "Ough!!" He flops and lands on the ground flat on his back. "A-agh..! Y-you..! So this is.. is your power..?!" He slowly gets up, coughing.

Cho lands beside Kevin. He swirls his arm around. "Heh!"

Kevin looks at Cho, looking horrified and amazed. "Aha.. What was that..?! How'd you do that..?!"

Cho looks down at Kevin. "Huh? Do what?"

[Jack]

"How can you not know who I am...?" Gray asks Aida , his voice annoyed and dissapointed.

He is then hit by the shockwave, and while it hit him, he simply flipped back and landed on his feet. "That was a pretty basic attack..." He mutters.

After Cho's rocket attack, he turns to Kevin. "He did that with a damn lot of power." Gray points out. "If this Cho is the Mystic Warrior Cho, then he is easily capable of those attacks."

Gray is still holding his sword by his side. He is just waiting for Soneji to try and make another attack

Kas's eyes are bulging out of his sockets. "Whoa, whoa! That was pretty sweet!!" Kas then suddenly becomes serious and crosses his arms, raising an eyebrow. "I need to learn how to do that..."

Clarth is jumping up and down, excited. "Whoa, whoa! Pretty nice, guy!" Clarth then shoves Kas forward. "But, my big brother can do better then that." says Clarth with a gleam.

Kas ignores Clarth and looks up at Soneji. "Oh, he's getting up..."
