GamePro Magazine does an article called "SSBM Academy" every issue. In their April Fool's issue (which wasn't the April one, it was March or May i think) they talked about the Sonic and Tails code in the Academy. Later on, they told us it was a joke, and to stop writing to them about it. They had taken scenes from one of the Sonic games, pulled out the characters, and plastered them onto a SSBM screenshot. Personally, it looked realistic, but I didnt fall for it.

here's more charecters that a website said you can get:

paper mario-beat very hard with 3 lives and don't continue useing mario, luigi or peach on classic

koopa troopa-beat very hard on all the modes with any charecter on any # of lives and don't continue, beat the homerun contest over 1,500 meters with any charecter, clear all the target tests, and kill at least 5 people in cruel melee.

There are only 26 PLAYABLE characters in SSBM. I've seen other sites that claim you can play as fighting wire frames and crazy hands. Don't believe them!

BTW, 26 includes Sheik.
