THPS1

Pause the game, hold L1 and enter the following codes. The screen will shake to confirm entry.

Mega cheat mode-- Circle, Right, Up, Down, Circle, Right, Up, Square, Triangle
Level Select-- Triangle, Right, Up, Square, Triangle, Left, Up, Square, Triangle

Big head mode-- Square, Circle, Up, Left, Left (quit and restart a game to use)

All Stats To 10-- Square, Triangle, Up, Down

All Stats To 13-- X, Square, Square, Triangle, Up, Down

Full Special Meter-- X, Triangle, Circle, Down, Up, Right

Turn off Displays-- Square, Left, Up, Triangle

Play as Officer ****:
Get all thirty tapes in Career mode with any one character.

Play as Private Carrera:
Start a game in any mode as Officer ****. Now pause, hold L1 and press Triangle, Up, Triangle, Up, Circle, Up, Left, Triangle. Unlike the other codes, the screen will not shake. Exit the game and return to the selection screen. Private Carrera will now appear in place of Officer ****. Note: If you restart the game as Private Carrera, the game will freeze.

See skater's video ending:
Get the gold in all three competitions with any one character. Choose 'View Replay' to see their ending.

Neversoft bails video:
Get three gold medals with Officer ****.

Special Meter Always Full:
Pause the game and hold down L1 and enter X, triangle, cirlce, down, up, right.

Slow Motion:
Pause the game and hold down L1 and enter square left up, square left.

100,000 Easy!:
This is a cool combo. First go to the school. Then go to the pool, don't get in the pool. Head straight for the half pipe and do a Smith Grind on the right pipe. After that jump off the half pipe and do a 360 Shove It or an Impossible onto the ledge and do a Crooked Grind to the end of the ledge and jump off the ledge and do a 360 Shove It/Impossible next do a Boardslide. Then jump from that ledge to the ledge across from the ditch while doing a 360 Shove It/Impossible to a Smith Grind. You can get up to 100,000 points but it all varies with different types of grinds.GOOD LUCK!

Cheats*Levels*
Warehouse (Level 1):
From where you start, go through the glass on the right and down that ramp, try to get yourself as far to the right as possible, jump over the pipe and through the secret room hanging above, you should soar right into the tape, if not, go back up the ramp and try again!

School (Level 2):
On the ramp where you start, jump off to the right and go up the large ramp that has a rail next to it, follow it onto the school's roof, jump off the brass platform beside the rail onto the second roof, turn left and grind on the wood stick down onto the ramp, go until the end of the ramp, you'll jump into the tape easily.

Mall (Level 3):
Follow the level to the right until you come to a ramp underneath a sign, you can go around or off of it, jump off the next ramp and try to get to the white pole and grind to the end. Just before you fall off, ollie into the tape.

No Tape On Level 4 (Windy City Slam Competition)

Downtown Minneapolis (Level 5):
Find your way to the truck with a ramp leading up into the glass, jump off the truck ramp and through the glass follow the tunnel out to the roof and find a brown ramp leading into a bowl, get some speed by doing a trick then go straight and off the other brown ramp (not the one you came in on) and jump, the secret tape is in the air, you'll hit it if you have the positioning right, you should land on another buildings roof.

Downhill Jam (Level 6):
Go from the start and grind on the pipes over the water, go left and go up a grey ramp with an arrow on it and grind on the pipe across to the other side, slow down and grind on the pipe to the other section across the path, go up the wall beside the drop and over, then jump up onto the top of the brown part and follow it to the cement part, jump up the wall across the pit again and over, try to speed up and get closer to the right (not all the way over!) and jump as far as you can to the rock formation with four pipes on it, grind on any of them and you'll go right into the tape.

No Tape On Burnside (Level 7)

San Francisco Streets (Level 8):
(This one takes alot of patience, it's probably the hardest to get!) As soon as you start go over the ramp and follow it until the end of, turn left as you get out (look for the donut shop and one of the police cars)and look right, you'll see buildings, go to the last one with a garden in front of it, get some speed and jump off the garden and hold "Up" in the air and try to land on the platform, go up the platform and turn right (watch the edge!) then right again, then right once more onto the roof. Get up on the ramp and go off it and jump as far as possible onto the big structure, the tape is on top. You might not get to it the first couple of times, it's really hard to get! You'll crash through the glass. The tape is right at the peak, it's almost impossible, but it can be done!

THPS2

Unlock McSqueeb:
After beating the Game 100% with Tony you'll unlock McSqueeb ('80s Tony).

Unlock '80s Tony Skate Video:
Earn three gold medals with McSqueeb ('80s Tony). This will unlock a video of the early days of Tony Hawk. To view the movie you have to start a session and then end run.

Unlock Neversoft Bail Video:
Earn three Gold medals with Officer **** to unlock the Neversoft Bail Video.

Jet Pack Mode:
You must hold L1 while you press Up, Up, Up, Up, X, Square, Up, Up, Up, Up, X, Square, Up, Up, Up, Up. Note: Controls are, hold Triangle to hover Hit X to trigger your Jetpack Push forward to fly forward

Unlock Neversoft Skaters:
From the Main Menu press and hold L1, now enter: Up, Square, Square, Triangle, Right, Up, Circle, Triangle. You'll notice the wheel spin a little bit and then enter the Create a Skater option. Enter in a name of a person that works at Neversoft. Try these names: Joel Jewett (president of Neversoft), Connor Jewett (Joel's son) and Mick West.

Thinner!:

This code will make your skater lose a little weight. You can enter this code multiple times to decrease the girth.

25% More Speed:

Multiple Points:
Pull off as many trick as you can while rotating. If you can incorporate this into your normal routine, you will see an incredible improvement in your scoring.

12 Million Points at Skatepark Ventura:
Turn on the perfect balance cheat and go to Skatepark Ventura. Then go to the halfpipe by the bowl and grind the pipe going towards the rail connecting the two rails. Don't go to fast because you want to start grinding backwards when you go up the hills of the rails or it won't work. Keep grinding for an hour to an hour and a half and you will have millions of points. Even though the timer has run out you will keep grinding until you jump off and you will get scores of 99.9 from all the judges.


More Time:
Just grind as the clock reahes "0". You can continue grinding until you fall, or just stop grinding.

Hidden Area:
In Marsellie there is a wooded area if you look straight ahead and a little to the left. If you go in it; you should see one of the lamp posts, but it has a wood board facing the wood wall propping the post up. If you skate into the board, propping the post up, it will break. Wait about 5 seconds then the post will fall onto the wood wall revealing a secret room with several plus 500 bonuses.

Extra points:
1. Jump completely over table

3. Jump down stairs
4. Grind one rail jump grind other rail (behind start)
5. Grind curved rail by steps jump grind edge of steps
6. Jump over crossbar in middle of game (has banner)
7. Jump over table leaning on ramp

9. Jump completely up steps
10. Go to left of dumpsters, go up ramps a few times, jump off ramp dumpsters.
11. Go to left of dumpsters, ride up ramp where crossbar is, come back down, go up small ramp opposite of where you are.
12. In the area where there are 3 circles connected, jump from one of the humps on the ground to another.
13. Jump over the smaller gate on the right side of the starting point

Opening the Gym in School II:
To open the gym doors in School II, head to the Opensezmee Rail as soon as you begin the level. (This is the rail just above the long bike rack banks area). When you hear the second roll call bell sound (at 1:40), grind the length of the rail. Then head forward to get inside the gymnasium and do some serious calisthenics.

Skate Heaven:
If you achieve 100% and get 3 golds with every skater, you can open up a new level – Skate Heaven.

Wallies:
To do a wallie simply do an ollie (press X) while doing a wall ride. Wallies can get you some unheard of air. Works really good on the the School level. Right at the beginning of the level go straight towards the first school bell and boneless to wall ride to wallie to whatever flip or grab tricks you got and then go straight into a grind on that top rail. From there you can go left or righ but which ever you choose, try to keep the tricks going. I busted an easy 113,000 point trick with this wall ride to wallie thing.

Negative Points:
This is a fun code to do. First you have to turn on the fly code. (Jet pack) Fly up into the air so that you won't hit any walls. Now you should hold down Triangle so you will stay up there. Start to do some tricks while hitting R2 about 15-25 times. It dont really matter if you go past 25 times. Now do a trick that you can hold for a while. ( one of them that end with the button 0 ) While holding it hold down the right arrow key. After the point reaches anywhere between 20 million to 35 million it will jump to negative points. When that happens just land safely on the ground

hey you know if you had aot of time and skill you could hit 300,000 it take forever though but it would have to be in one move. for example do a move like do a kick move then a manual then a grind then a manual again then continue with all that kind of stuff just try the end of the move wit a manual it would be extemly hard but i suggest to some people to try it
