Infernal Machine ,,help please..

Hi, I seem to be stuck on level 5... (sambala sanctuary I think its called).. I cannot get the bell ringer to ring the bell... I have put the (ratchet?) in the gears...I have started the clock with the cog...I spun the dial....went upstairs flipped the switch when the ringer started spinning......out it went....>>>>>cut to top of bell area...<<<< nothing happens....????? is this a bug or am I missing something??

Thanks for the reply.... seems nobody knows where I can find a walkthrough for it... I have used the cheat code to skip to the next level ,,, but lost all my heath/poison packs....
Also missed the cut scene where I got the first machine piece...
If it was the pc version I could find dozens of walkthroughs...
