A chao question

From an argument with another person, we have posted here for an answer.

Is there such thing as chao in sonic adventures?

I say there isn't but that might be because I just play the game and nothing else

He says there is and is said in the instructions.

Who is right?

Im pretty sure theres a chaos, but i dont rmember a chao, maybe?

What? In the first Sonic Adventure? Of course there is. There's three chao gardens in the three adventure fields. In Station square its in the lift in the hotel. In Mystic ruins its through the cave near Tails' workshop and on the mine cart. On the Egg carrier its inside at through the door with buttons with letters on outside it. Press them to spell 'EGGMAN.'

Where's the Mystic Ruins one?

You said it's in the mystic ruins near where Tails lives. But I can't find it (well I found an emblem so it wasn't a compleate waste of time.)

And another thing all I see are eggs, no chao, eggs. Where are they? where are the chao?

There is a cave in the wall below the platform with the emblem on it. It's where you get the shovel claws with Knux. Jump in the mine cart in there.

And the eggs are Chao eggs. Pick one up using Y and keep it held, then move the ****og stick and your char will 'hug' it (It acually looks more like shaking). Then put the egg back down and it will hatch. Or you can just throw the egg. Either works.
