How do I do this?

I am not much of a computer guru in this area and would like some help. Can anyone provide me simple steps on how to accomplish the following? I am trying to enable the cheat codes for No One Lives Forever 2, and I can't figure this out. As I said, I'm not a computer guru. This is what it says:

Note: This procedure involves editing a registry value; do not attempt this if you are not familiar with working with your system registry, as a mistake can cause serious problems with Windows. Start Regedit and use the "Registry/Export Registry File" menu option to create a backup copy of your original registry. Find the following registry key:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Monolith Productions\No One Lives Forever 2\1.0]
Change the "EndGame" value to "1".
