Here are the best cheats in my opinion, and confirmed cheats for The Sims on PC:

First, open the cheat console window by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C ... Now type one of the following:

$1000 (Money) (The Sims without addon packs) : klapaucius
$1000 (Money) (The Sims with addon packs) : rosebud
Move any object (also means you can delete almost anything) : move_objects_on
Turn off "Move any object" : move_objects_off

With either of the $1000 (Money) cheats above, you can use this tip to get loads of money!!!

Firstly, enter the correct $1000 (Money) cheat from above (depending on what version of "The Sims" you have), and then re-open the cheat console window (using Ctrl+Alt+Shift+C)...

Now type:

!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;

Now highlight all the text that you typed, and hold down Ctrl+C. This will copy the text (!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! to the clipboard. Now hold down Ctrl+V, until you hear a noise. Now highlight the entire cheat window, and press Ctrl+C ... Press enter. Now re-open the cheat window, and press Ctrl+V. Keep repeating this last step until you have as much money as you want!
