Ok, now depending on what expansion you have there are two different money cheats...

If you only have the original sims, during build mode, press CTRL+SHIFT+C and a little green box appears at the top left corner of your screen...Click in it and type in Klapaucius...that will raise your money...and if you want to get a lot more money:

Follow this pattern directly after the word Klapaucius (no spaces)
;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;! then ENTER

And if you have any of the expansion packs, ( works the same with all )
CTRL+SHIFT+C and then type rosebud
Again, you can use the semi-colon exclamation pattern to get more money...
You can do this an unlimited amount of times...and to avoid wasting time, after you do the cheat the first time, the next time you bring the cheat box up again, just fill it with !;!;!;!;! ( starting and ending with !'s...) You don't need to retype rosebud or anything....( HINT! use copy and pasting...After you type ;!;!;!;! a couple of times, high light the pattern, and press CTRL+C and then to paste it, press CTRL+V a few times...

for the expanshion pack buy a small stand place it some where in the house the go to misc. and buy a genie lamp place it on the stand and tell 1 of your sims to clean it

note: you can only do this once every 2 days or so

thats fake. you cant go into build mode or buy mode when there is a burgular in the house. all you have to do is put a burgular alarm outside your house. he will be caught before he can steal anything.
