• Death of a recruit

Recruiting warriors for your school is crucial to winning battles. Be careful though; if a recruit dies in a random battle outside of a town, he or she will be permanently dead. If they die inside a tournament inside a town, they will be revived after the battle is over.

• Decrease Enemy Level

At a league office, pause the game and press: RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT, UP, UP, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, RIGHT, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, DOWN, UP. Repeat the code to further decrease the enemy's level.

• Dirty Money

If you are short of money but have enough to hire a new gladiator permanently you can then strip him of shield armor and helmet, sell the equipment for big money and expel the unwanted gladiator. You can't have their weapon unless you give them something, less useful, first.

• Easy Critical Hits

To score critical hits very easily, first you must have a Barbarian warrior, such as Urlan. When you have enough points, learn the morph into bear move and bring Urlan into combat. Turn into the bear and attack someone using the move called "Bite"

Timing this move right is critical and easy, just press A as fast as you can. Even at extremely low levels (1-3) it can dish out up to 80 damage.

• Easy items and money

(To begin this cheat very early in the game, start the game as Valens) During the early mornings and late afternoon, go to the beach of Imperia. Once you do this, stand still and push A. There will be a window that pops up and it will say searching. Keep looking until your time runs out. If the items are not to your interest, just sell them. If they appeal to you then you can save or use them. (HINT: the warriors helmet is a good equip weapon, and it also is worth lots of money)

• Easy Way To Win Battles

If you are in a battle and you are in an enclosed area, there is an easy way to win. If there is an opening with only one way to get to a location, put three guys in a trifecta that is not blocking one space for your enemies to stand.

Put two heavy gladiators horizontally and one light vertically. Make sure the light gladiator has the move "Sand Toss". When an enemy comes to attack, use sand toss and then attack with the other gladiators.

• Experience

Pause the game at the school screen, then press Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, Left, Left, Left, Y, Right.

• No Limit Equipment

Pause the game at the school menu then press RIGHT, DOWN, LEFT, UP, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, Y, Y, Y.

• Random battles

Like all RPGs, gaining experience and Dinars (gold) is best achieved by fighting random battles. Tournaments may give better results, but most cost money to enter and in the beginning, you will be spending your cash on weapon/armor
upgrades and recruiting warriors. You may have to run around for awhile outside of the towns, but there are enemies wandering around out there.

• Remove equip limitations

Pause game play at your school, then press Right, Down, Left, Up, Left, Left, Left, Left, Y, Y, Y. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Any character can now be equipped with any item.

• Sigi the Galdr optional quest

In the first region of Nordagh, speak to Xandl the weapon shop owner in Mordare to hear about the missing witch, Sigi the Galdr. To find her, walk around the area north of Roanor to get a random battle that has Sigi surrounded by six Mongrel Shamen. Defeat the Shamen and return to Mordare. Speak to Xandl once again. Sigi will give you the Signet Of The Valkyrie and Xandl will give you 463 Dinars and two weapons, a Flamberge and a Tschehouta.

• Southern Expanse: Secret arena

In the Southern Expanse, there is a secret arena with several leagues you can attempt. If you choose Hell Gate you will encounter an endurance fight for Gladiators 18 and above. The first four fights consist of four Summoners of the same realm; first air, earth, fire, then water. The last fight is a Summoner named Sarenenutet (the same summoner you killed in the Saraa Izel quest Mysterious Tablet). Kill him and you will receive some interesting items that you will never find in any store. After completing the fights, go to the far southeastern corner of the desert. You will encounter Usus. He will tell you a small tale, then each warrior you actually used to fight the Hell Gate league will each receive an attack called Hell's Fury. This is an area affect attack that does massive damage, killing nearby enemies instantly. To find this league, try running around at night, pressing A (as if searching the beach). Note: You must be standing still while pressing A to search.

• The Games at Caltha

When you start the game and pick Valens you find yourself in Imperia fighting in some luegues or what have you. then you find that your tactics aren't working so well when you play. That's when you head over in to Caltha. Ya know the big Imperial stadium. Once there you can watch fights among other gladiators and watch to understand some new strategy tactics that will help in the future. Good Luck! Also for winning efficiently in the games outside of Caltha, i suggest any one who plays the game immediately hire a Murmillo (the fish people) for they have really strong abilities.

• Unlock Harder Enemies

Pause the game in a league office then press RIGHT, RIGHT, RIGHT, UP, UP, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, LEFT, UP, UP, UP, UP, DOWN.

• Weaker Enemies

Pause the game at a league office, then press Right, Right, Right, Up, Up, Left, Left, Left, Left, Right, Down, Down, Down, Down, Up.
