• Another Pikmin Song

If you bring 20 of each color Pikmin with you, the song they hum will be the hit song from the Japanese commercial for Pikmin. It will work both in the main levels and in the caverns where it will replace the Luigi's Mansion theme they otherwise like to sing.

• Awakening Wood

Collect the sphere map in Emergence Cave.

• Blue pikmin

The blue pikmin are in the awakening wood level. You need yellow pikmin!To take down an electric wall. They are past the flowers that have berries.Then pass the tree stump,and you see a wall throw your pikmin up on the top and go to the right and through the water call your pikmin and attack the wall. | [Sent by DylanCraver]

• Bosses

NOTE: These do not have to be fought in this order. This is just the order I fought them.

Boss #1:
Empress Bulblax.

Use any kind of Pikmin and throw them on her. Then, when she is about to shake, call your Pikmin and run to where you entered the floor. Repeat this until she explodes.

Boss #2:
Burrowing Snagret.
Separate your Pikmin and call the white Pikmin you found earlier. Take them to the Snagret and throw them at it's head. If it grabs some, it will get poisoned. It should be gone in a matter of seconds, but if it isn't, repeat this process.

Boss #3:
Emperor Bulblax.
Take white Pikmin and dismiss them in front of Bulblax. He will eat them. He should die almost instantaneously, but if he doesn't, throw either blue or purple Pikmin at his face.

Boss #4:
Beady Long Legs.
Use yellow Pikmin and throw them at the ball. Repeat. NOTE: DO NOT attack the feet. Attacking the feet is futile.

• Cinemas And Credits Option

Collect 10,000 Pocos.

• Defeating Emperor Bulblax

Take about ten Purple Pikmin and use the Ultra-Spicy Spray on them. Throw them all on the giant Bulblax. The Boss should be defeated in just a few seconds.

• Defeating Empress Bulblax

Take about three to five Red Pikmin and go into the corner directly next to Empress Bulblax. Start to throw all the Red Pikmin on it. When it is about to shake them off, whistle your Pikmin back and go into the corner, pressing the C-stick
Down, so they will be behind you and therefore will not be crushed. Keep repeating those steps until you defeat Empress Bulblax. This is a good strategy to use to keep most of your Pikmin alive.

• Defeating Flint Beetles

If you come across a strange beetle that pops out of the ground, simply throw a purple pikmin anywhere around it and it will drop whatever it has.

• Defeating Looie's spider Boss

Go head on to the Boss with only Yellow Pikmin.

• Defeating worms

The worms that shoot rocks can be used to destroy itself and other monsters. When it shoots a rock it will follow you stand behind the monster you want destroyed the rock will hit it and there you go. If you want the worm destroyed stand behind it. | [Sent by DylanCraver]

• Easy way to kill enemies

An easy way to kill any enemy that will eat (not smash or anything besides eat) this includes emporer bulbax just send out a white pikmin and let it get eaten. Sure you probably dont have a lot of white pikmin but it should be used in dire situations. | [Sent by GCMAN]

• Hidden Pikmin 1 Theme Song

Assemble 20 of each of the 5 colored Pikmin into a single group to hear them hum the Japanese Pikmin 1 theme song, Ai no Uta by Strawberry Flower.

• Perplexing Pool

Collect the exploration map in the Awakening Wood.

• Pikmin Reference

Get twenty of each of the five different Pikmin colors into one group. They will hum the theme song from the original Pikmin.

• Play As Shyacho

Collect 10,000 Pocos and save Hokotate Intergalactic Delivery.

• President of Hocotate Freight

To unlock the President earn 10,000 Pokos by gathering treasure. You can't unlock him to play on other games, and he'll only be for 1P mode. Getting 10,000 Pokos you'll unlock 3 movies, Wistful Wild, and the president since Louie is missing.

• Title Screen Fun

At the title screen (where it says "press Start"), press the X button to make a beetle appear. Once the insect is on the screen, you can use left and right on the C-Stick to turn it and forward to move. If you move the bug into the Pikmin that make up the logo, they will "interact" with the bug. Press Y to make a Chappie appear. You can move it around the same way and press Z to make it eat Pikmin. To get rid of the creatures, press the L button. Press R to make the Pikmin run around the screen and then rearrange themselves to form the word "Nintendo."

• Treasure Completion Fmv Sequence

Collect all the treasure pieces and rescue Louie.

• Unlock Challenge Mode

To key to unlocking Pikmin 2's Challenge Mode (for one or two players) lies in the game's third zone -- the lake area. Once you have unlocked it, grab a group of yellow and red Pikmin as well as a handful of white Pikmin (to dig up hidden treasures along the way). No blue Pikmin needed. Fight the electric bugs and fire emitters with the matching Pikmin and make your way to basement level 5. Fight the mechanical spider with a small group of yellow Pikmin: throw them at the spider's body, then call them back to you and move them out of the way when the spider is stomping its feet. When you have beaten the spider, a key (literally) appears. Have the Pikmin bring it back and exit the level by jumping into the geyser. The Challenge Mode will now be available for selection from the main menu.

• Unlock Louis notes in piklopedia

To unlock Louis notes in piklopedia you must have beaten the Titan Dweevil( last boss). Louis notes are all cooking the monsters. | [Sent by zacheryzag]
