Reach "Reversible Gear" and get to the goal. Turn around and look to the right of the opening. You will see Aiai's head.

Look behind when you start "Bubbly Washing Machine" to see see Aiai's Head.

• Alternate music

Unlock all mini-games to change the music that is heard at the main menu.

• Bonus levels

Select the beginner difficulty setting and complete all ten levels in World 1 without using any continues to unlock 10 bonus beginner levels. Select the advanced difficulty setting and complete all thirty levels in Worlds 2 through 4 without using any continues to unlock 10 bonus advanced levels. Select the expert difficulty setting and complete all fifty levels in Worlds 5 through 10 without using any continues to unlock 10 bonus expert levels.

• Coin slots

In the coin slots level, wait four seconds then go straight. You should hit the first goal.

• Easy completion

On the following levels, go perfectly straight to easily complete it:

Simple: Beginner level 1
Hoppers: Advanced level 3
Triangle Holes: Advanced level 23
Quick Turn: Extra Beginner level 8

• Easy PP

In the main game, when you cannot get past a board or level, make a new game. When you have three games and you cannot proceed further, delete a game and make a new one there. You will not lose any PP.

• Extra level 7: Easy completion

Go fast and use the side to complete the level. Also, there is a mini-game at the end where you have to collect all the bananas. The big banana gives you 10 bananas and the star makes you untouchable for 10 seconds.

• Fly out of Monkey Dogfight level

Buy the Monkey Dogfight party game. Go to the Space Station Zone level. Immediately fly to the bottom of the level. Fly into one of the long cracks in the floor. Once you are in the crack, hold R button. If you just keep flying, you will go through the wall. The other side is completely black. Do not fly too low or you will land in invisible water and drown. If you turn around, you will see the level. If you fly far enough away from the level, the level will no longer be there when you turn around. This is a good place to have major dog fights with your friends. If you want to get back to the level, you will have to look at your mini map or just drown.

Choose the space station level. Fly straight down into one of the "corridors" and go straight. Eventually you will go into the wall and the screen will turn black. You can see the level. This is an easy way to win Survival mode because people cannot hit you and you can hit them. To exit, fly back into the stage.

• Gift option

Once you have unlocked all party games, the gift option will be unlocked at the options screen, where by using play points, you can buy more lives in challenge mode, in-game movies, and the staff credits.

• Hidden picture

When you are playing the level where you have to jump in the spinning thing, once you get in you will see a picture of Aiai on the wall.

• Level 25

There is a very easy way to complete level 25 in normal mode, "Triangle Holes". Hold perfectly straight forward all the way through. You will bounce safely through the entire board and through the goal.

• Master bonus levels

Complete all ten master mode levels without using any continues.

• Master difficulty setting

Select the expert difficulty setting and complete all fifty levels in Worlds 5 through 10 and the ten bonus expert levels without using any continues.

• Monkey Baseball: Easy outs

When it is your turn to pitch, position your players so that you have someone behind you. Then, pitch the ball nice and slow down the middle. Then, when the monkey hits the ball, it will go directly to the monkey who was behind your glove. This is an easy way to get three outs very quickly and works about 98% of the time.

• Monkey Baseball: Easy strikeouts

It is easy to strike out the batter if you move all the way to the opposite side of the pitcher. Throw it as fast as you can. The batter will hit it, but it will go backwards. After there are two strikes, do the same thing, only this time slow down just before the plate. The batter will swing and miss. This requires practice.

• Monkey Bowling 2 levels

Get a score of 120 or higher in Beginner Mode to unlock the Advanced mode level. Get a score of 120 or higher in Advanced mode to unlock Expert mode level.

• Monkey Bowling 2: Baby spin

When you are the baby, make sure that you are close to the middle when you aim. The baby does not spin at all when you put it on spin mode.

• Monkey Bowling 2: Easier shots

Play as Baby to have the aim slow down.

• Monkey Dogfight party game: Easy win

Select the first stage (Turtle Island). When you start, hold L + Analog-stick Down. You will enter the forest. Wait inside the forest until there is only one person remaining. No one will be able to hurt you, because the trees are covering you.

• Monkey Dogfight party game: Somersault

First, ascend while slowing down (L), and when you reach 30 mph mark (look at the bottom left), speed up while still ascending. The camera should go crazy momentarily, then you should end up upside down (the ball, not the landscape). You can barrel roll for a U-turn or keep going up/down to complete your somersault.

• Monkey Race 2: Easy item removal

While racing, if you are hit by an item, quickly press the Analog-stick side to side. The item should be removed faster. Note: This does not work when you are hit by a banana.

• Monkey Race 2: Quick start

At the starting countdown for the race, press Analog-stick Down. As soon as it says "GO!", press Analog-stick Up + A. If done correctly, you will launch forward just like the CPU racers. Note: This trick requires practice.

• Monkey Shot levels

Complete the Beginner level to unlock the Advanced level. Complete the Advanced level to unlock the Expert level.

• Party games

It takes 2,500 play points to unlock a party game. The best way to rack up quick points is to play challenge mode. Play the Beginner level a few times without continuing to earn extra stages that will help your score skyrocket.

• Play any party game

Gain 2,500 PP (play points) then save the game. Put a memory card in slot B. Transfer the saved file to slot B. Open slot B and you can play all mini-games.

When you get the necessary amount of points to unlock a party game, select the one you want and unlock it. If you want to unlock something else, reset the game and select a different one.

• Play Point Record table

Unlock all 99 monkeys, all 12 movies and the Staff Credit game. the Play Point record table will be unlocked. This option keeps a record of the Play Points earned in a Challenge mode game.

• Secret Area in Monkey Dogfight

Go to Monkey Dogfight and set it to survival mode(so you'll have plenty of time). Choose the Space Monkey Wars level. Fly down until you reach the floor. Then fly into one of the ditches in the floor. Then while staying on the ground in the ditch fly straight through the wall. You should be in a big pitch black area outside of the arena. If you fly to low you'll hit a big pool of water.

• Sliders stage: Shortcut

Start at the first U-turn. Begin moving side to side at the end of the U-turn. You will start to fall to the third U-turn. Do the same thing at the third U-turn. You will fall to the almost last U-turn. You will save 10 to 20 seconds by doing this. Note: This requires practice.

• Switches

On almost every level where you hit a switch and something is moving (for example, stage 1-3 on the main game), there is another switch behind it. Go back to the back of the course and hit the switch. This will slow things down and make it easier to complete that level.

Most levels that are too fast have a slow-down switch located behind the starting point.

When you are on a level that you automatically land on a switch that makes things go really fast, turn around. There will be another switch that makes things go much slower when you go over it. This helps a lot on the fourth world, Inside a Whale.

• World 3-4: Dribbles: Easy completion

Go back at the beginning and hit the button. This will slow the jellyfish down, making it easier to get through.

• World 3-4: Dribbles: Hidden switch

Once you start, you will land on a switch which makes the things go faster. Behind you is a switch that will make the Stompers slower. This is a better way to win.

• World 4-4: Coin Slots

Go straight to the last one (because it is slower). When the clock reaches about 11 seconds, the goal should be there to run through.
