Corona armor: Complete "Curiouser And Curiouser " under the Nightmare difficulty.
Kirin gauntlets: Complete "Down The Rabbit Hole" under the Normal difficulty.
Matsukaze mount: Collect all 54 Tanukis statues in Murasame Castle.
Murasame Castle Nightmare mode: Complete Murasame Castle.
Nova gauntlets: Complete "Down The Rabbit Hole" under the Nightmare difficulty.
Suzaku armor: Complete "Through The Looking Glass" under the Normal difficulty.
Takamaru's fourth weapon, Murasame blade: Complete "Curiouser And Curiouser " under the Normal difficulty.
Takamaru's missions: Play Murasame Castle in single player mode and complete the three hidden stages that can only be played as Takamaru. The stages are unlocked after a high number of Tanukis statues are collected.
Tengu boots: Complete Murasame Castle.

• Secret Characters

All but one character can be unlocked through the use of rice currency. This character has their own requirements. There are also two models of non playable characters which can be unlocked for creation in CAW, however they do not possess their own movesets and can only be played in free/historical mode and murasame castle.
