Faster framerates
Use the track editor and enable the "Slow Tunnels?" item at the "Options" menu. Doing this will remove the tunnel texture and increase your frame rate.Shortcuts
You do not have to confine yourself to the track. Watch the overhead map for the next checkpoint, and cut corners to get there faster.
