Midfield is easy because you can stay up front like a striker or go in to defence if you prefere defending and the tasks will be easier.

• Best Manager Mode Team

First take AC Milan in Italian Series A. Takeout all players above 27 years except Nesta, Gattosu and Pirlo. Sell them afterwards. Sell Nesta in the 3rd season and sell Pirlo and Gattosu in the 5th season. Make the following team.

• Challenge Mode Hint

The size of reward earned in Challenge Mode depends on the team you used for the challenge. Use a club with a lower star rating than your opponent to maximise the points awarded for success.

• Easy goals

To get the most out of corners, aim towards where the most people are (slightly to your left if you are taking it from the right side of the pitch and vice versa) then set it to full power by holding Circle. As soon as it comes in, keep tapping Circle and someone will header it in.

When the goal keeper throws the ball to a defender, quickly tackle the defender and hold L1 and press Circle. Almost always this will chip the keeper, as he cannot get back to the line in time. This makes for a good replay, and also works from half way if you can time it correctly.

• Good Formation

Go on to the create formation menu and choose a 4-5-1 line up, move the LCM forward to between the ST and the LWM and the RCM between the ST and the RWM,Change the LCM and RCM to LAM and RAM.you can also move the CM forward as well. you should have your midfield/attack pointing in an arrow towards the attacking goal,this is a great attacking formation.

• Kroos

In Bayern Munich there will be a player called something Kroos (I forget) he is 64 and is 17 yrs old but he goes upto 87.

• Lots of money

This works with any team. Whay you do is before you start manager mode, the team you want just tranfer some good players on the team that you are selecting. (I would pick these two players Ronaldo (Manchester United) Ronaldinho (Barcelona). This will make you have lots of money if you are struggling.

• Manager Mode Tip

When you pick your first season team, you should stay with them for at least 3 seasons, because if you quit before that, you wont be able to go any other good team.

• Manager mode: Spending experience points

In Manager mode, access the experience points menu. Near the top of the screen is an option you can toggle if you wish to have the experience points spent automatically. Turn the autospend off. Save up until you have about 40,000 experience points, or roughly a third of a season. Then, go back into the menu where you spend your points. You can spend a lot more points in one go. This makes it easier to decide what aspects of a player to upgrade. When you have 40,000 experience points, turn on the auto spend. The CPU spends the points better if there are more to spend.

• Quick cash in Manager Mode

"Buy" off the free agent list.you dont actually have to pay a transfer fee.You just pay him really really high wages.You can then keep the player(if you can afford his weekly pay) or sell him straght away for a huge profit.

I was playing as Sydney FC(low budget), so I "bought" 3 guys off the free agent list.(You do have to pay their wages for at least a week or until you can sell them)I then sold these 3 guys for about $10 or $15 million each.

This will work with any club on the game, even the rich ones like Real Madrid or Man United.

The following is a great set of players to have on Manager mode. These players are quality buys if you can get them quite cheap and you are looking for players who develop into the 96+ category
overall rating. To find the best players, do a search for all players aged between 16 to 19. You can find some 17 or 18 year olds with a rating of 90. These players only cost about $7 million because of their age, and you can make them worth about 40 in a season if the play well for you.

• Saving Penalties

When the opposition has just won a penalty and their player is getting ready, press right on the right anolog stick, and your goalkeeper should bounce along his goal line. Then in between the players run up and his contact with the ball, bounce back to the middle and then dive (circle and left annalog stick) to the far left hand side. It works about 90% of the time.

• Scouting

On your first season upgrade your scout to 10 and scout africa You'll see a player called M.Omoboe he'll go up to 86+.

• Scouting

Get your scout up to 10 in 1st season, then Send him out evrywhere in the world. There are some potential stars in evry place.

Africa: M. Omaboe
Americas: K. Bridge
England: D. Milner

They are the ones I can remember off the top of my head...hope it helps. Also, buy from Brazilian league anyone under 22 and over 75...lots of cheap potential stars.

• Scouting in the America's

On my first season for Arsenal, I upgraded my scout to 10 and then searched the America's....the scout then came back with a 18 year old called Kyle Bridge...he is 64 overall but grows to 86...he is a great prospect.

• Stopping penalty kicks

Use the following trick to stop a penalty kick about 80% of the time. Move your goalkeeper to either the left or the right side of the goal (as far as you can move him). While the striker is running up, move the goalkeeper to the opposite side (of where you first moved) and dive low. About 80% of the time you will stop the kick. Use the Left Analog-stick to sidestep faster and get a better chance of saving the ball. Note: Sometimes the kick is too good to stop or he will not kick this way.

• The best team for 4-3-3

If you are going to start manager mode then use these players in the 4-3-3 formation. Before going to manager mode, go to club transfers and move all of the players needed to your team that you are going to use.
