• All golfers

Press L2, R2, L2, R2, Up, Right, Down, Left, L1, L2 at the main menu. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Note: Press L2, R2, L2, R2, Up, Right, Down, Left, L1, R1 in the Japanese version of the game.

• All modes

Press Left, Square, Up, Square, Down, Circle, Left, Square, L1, R1 at the main menu. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

• Alternate ball (Japanese version)

Press L2 + R1 + Triangle while the swing meter is on screen before hitting the ball. Press Left or Right to change the ball's shape.

• Alternate ball (Japanese version)

Press L2 + R1 + Triangle while the swing meter is on screen before hitting the ball. Press Left or Right to change the ball's shape.

• Alternate costumes

Press L1 or R1 when selecting a character in normal mode.

• Alternate sounds

Press L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1 at the main menu. A sound will confirm correct code entry. Repeat the code to select various sound selections. Note: Press L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2 in the Japanese version of the game.

• Change effects

Press L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1, L2, R2, L1, R1 at the main menu. A sound will confirm correct code entry.

• Faster opponent turn

Hold X while waiting for your turn. This should speed up both your opponent hitting it, and the time it takes for the shot, significantly. You can also hold X after you shoot to speed up your shot's time to get there.

• Left-handed golfers

Highlight a golfer, then hold L2 + Select and press X at the character selection screen.

• Mulligan

Use the following trick if you get into a bad situation and want to take the shot over. Press Select and quit the game. You will be prompted to save. Answer "Yes" and you should return to the title screen. Load your game and you will be teeing off at the hole you just quit from.

• Slow motion replay

Repeatedly press L2 + R2 during a replay.

• Stop caddie dialogue

Press Start(2) to pause and immediately resume the game. This cuts off the caddie's speech and they will not continue it after the game resumes.
