• Chi Arts advantage

If you have the dominating Chi against any opponent (this helps against Bosses), you will reduce damage done to you and increase damage done to them.

• Collecting Kenpo

When collecting all Kenpo it will take alot of time. It is recommended that you look for generals (the old men who seem to have powerful attacks). Keep attacking them and break the Clan Rocks. These are rocks that have a Dragon (Seiryu), Phoenix (Suzaku), Tiger (Byakko), Turtle (Genbu), and Kirin (yellow) to get as much Kenpo as possible.

• Completion bonus

Save the game when prompted after the ending credits. Load the cleared saved game to start with all previously obtained items, and sword scrolls.

• Downloadable content passwords

Enter one of the following passwords to download a new weapon, scroll, or other item:

• Easy Chi training

Charge up your Chi gauge to the maximum level. When you enter a battle, kill all the enemies except for one using sword attacks, then weaken the last one. Next, use the Chi attack to kill the weakened enemy. After you start the Chi attack, hold Square. Once the enemy is dead, you will begin to charge your Chi gauge, but will still be in Attack mode, even though there are no enemies. When the gauge is charged, tap Square(2), then hold it down again (requires precise timing). If done correctly, you will execute the Chi attack and begin charging up again. You will gain Chi experience for each Chi attack. Repeat this as many times as desired. Note: If the timing of the Square double tap is incorrect, you will exit Battle mode and be unable to attack with your Chi.

• Easy Chi training

After every fight, charge up to maximum then use it when an enemy is near. Also, run during the battle and charge your Chi and constantly use it until reaching the maximum level (in stats, the bar is full green).

• Fight to the end

Stock up on just 10x of each healing item (Holy, Recovery, Vita, and Refresh Drops, also Do, Ya, Ma and Madoya powders and some essences will not hurt) and 11 Soul Talismans. You can complete the game with some difficulty with just 8 if you trained correctly (15 in normal and 17 in hard), and used the downloaded items. You must use the Ginmei against the five Gods).

• Float

Charge your Chi over before a surface that meets a lower surface (going down a flight of steps, cliffs. or hills) to make yourself float. Hold it as long as desired.

• Freestyle Scrolls

The first Freestyle Scroll is given to you. The second Freestyle Scroll is in Suzaku by the inn. The third Freestyle Scroll is in Chikuan at the end of the town to the left. The fourth Freestyle Scroll is in Western Byakko to the right and under a bridge inside the first part of the town near the Blacksmith and curse remover.

• Glitch: Floating on air

First have the Genmei sword equiped along with a spell (Seiryu, Suzaku, etc.)Run until you're just about to fall off a ledge, then start charging with the square button just before you fall off. You stand on air until you stop charging, then you fall. | [Sent by JoshWall]

• Greater Magic Damage

Later, when you level up Shinbu enough, you learn the Hiken Arts, which allow you to throw and stick your sword in enemies. Then, when you're magic is charged, use it to do greater damage. | [Sent by JoshWall]

• Loading your endgame save

After you beat the final boss and get past the final cut-scene and credits, you are given the option to make an endgame save. If you load this savegame, you start a new game, but you get to have all the sword scrolls, equipment and inventory items that you had from your previous game.

• Open gate to treasure before Byakko

When you go to Byakko for the first time, you should notice a gate with a few treasure chests and explosive barrels inside. To open this gate, you must go to the front gate to the inside of Byakko, then, find someone talking about that gate and the treasure inside. • Pure San'yuan Bugei

To unlock the Pure San'yuan bugei you must beat the game and save your game after the credits. Once you continue that file you will start over with all of the items you had in your previous game and have the Pure San'yuan kenpu in the Bugei Scrolls section.

• Secret Items and Kenpu

At the title screen, go to download and when you get connected, enter these codes to get certain items. Note: Entering these codes are the only ways to get these items

• Swing at nothing

After each fight you can swing your sword repeatedly when there are no enemies. This works similar to the Chi Hack, but also allows you to make the last intermission sequence of Xui Yu where she destroys the last Kirin Chi Gate invisible if you have already have completed the game and have the Kirin Chi.

• Trapped

Charge your Chi up (floating) in some areas like the cliff leading out of Suzaku. You will be trapped and nothing you do will get you out, other than restarting the entire game.
