After your first mission (which was a dream by the way) you are at sunnydale. You have to go to the door all the way down the hall to the right. If you turn to your left there is a stake and a door. Don't go through the door just yet, there is also a shower go around it and there is another stake. When you open the door there is a vamp. Kill him then go through and try to save the girl from the vamp in the room to your right. After you kill him, there is another shower to your right and in it is a whoop-butt mop!!! Use it to stake your enemies. You mop them with the floor, litterally! When you first enter run through the hall and on your left is a broken wall leading to another room, but don't go in there just yet. Keep running down the hall and you will turn left the rest of the way down the stairs. On your left is a door. It doesn't open so don't even try it. On the right hand side, however, is an abnormal looking wall. Kick it down and in it lies your first secret.Pretty much everybody you save will give you an elixer, so save as many people as you can to get a lot of elixers! The all pretty much give you elixers except for the wimpy guy that decides to cry in a corner! Glad I'm not him! When you first start the game you have to go through and obstacle course and battle 2 bad guys. When Giles opens the door for you, you need to go thourgh and open the first to doors. After the 2nd door is a room with hay. Climb up the hay barrels to your left and look to your right. There should be a chair there. Kick it and it will break showing a glowing object. Pick the object up with your Y button, and you have an extra stake then to your right(not down from the loft) is a table with another glowing object on it. That is your mission key that will open all doors. Then just continue to the end! Some of you may remember me from Buffy: Chaos Bleeds for PS2. I'm back for more! The only difference in this game is that you are ONLY the Chosen One. Here's your Buffy bio to fighting! When it comes to fighting in this game, Buffy is better with charging attacks, like the RUSHING SPIN KICK COMBO (L-stick in desired direction + A A A) or the RUSHING RIGHT CROSS COMBO (L-stick in desired direction + X X X). When you get farther in the game, I highly suggest using the REAPER BLADE. Buffy is best with quick moves as opposed to using special weapons. Special weapons include RAKES, POOL CUES, BASEBALL BATS, SHOVELS, MOPS, PUSHBROOMS, etc. The moves Buffy executes using these special weapons take much too long, giving demons the chance to smack you silly. Stick with a WOODEN STAKE in the beginning and then move on to the REAPER BLADE. KEEP YOU ENEMIES GUESSING. In boss fights, if you keep using the same combos, they'll figure out how to block you. Mix it up! It's ok to do a combo two or three times, but even three is pushing it. LEARN TO BLOCK! This can be done by holding the R-button. LEARN CLEARING MOVES. If you're surrounded, these will save your life. These can be executed by pulling the L-stick away from your primary enemy and pressing eith X or A at the same time you pull the L-stick. LEARN SUPER SLAYER MOVES. Build up your Slayer Power to the max and kick some demon ass! | [Sent by Spike'sSlayer]For the daring gamer like me, who goes through the game without hints, this probably won't apply. Buffy has diarrhea of the mouth...in a good way. She talks quite a bit, and most people disregard the majority of her banter. DON'T DO THAT! Every now and then, she'll say something useful... like, "There's gotta be a clue around here somewhere..." or "Cinder and ash..." For you braintrusts out there who can't figure out that cinders and ashes are FLAMMABLE, this is a CLUE. When hints aren't available (like, when Buffy actually keeps her mouth shut), look around for things that seem a little odd. Many secrets can be found between two groupings on candles (try kicking the wall in between them) or behind cracked walls or floors. Check lockers in the high school (always a good idea) and don't be afraid to wander the level looking for all of the secrets. Most of them are CRYSTALS. GET AS MANY OF THESE AS YOU CAN! The more Health and Slayer Power you have, the better off you will be later on. Buffy's body language is also important. Sometimes, her haed will move toward a crypt or bush. THIS IS A CLUE. Take your time, unless you could care less about secrets. In that case, you can go to Hell. Literally. | [Sent by Spike'sSlayer]At the Extras menu, press Y, White, Black, Black, White, Y Black (x3), Y (x3). You hear a scream when the code is entered correctly. | [Sent by yoel]The first thing abviously is to kill all the spiders. Now, when you go down stairs and into the room don't break the tables and chairs, there is nothing in them. Kill the spider that comes from the ventalation shaft. In the next room, DO NOT open the refrigerator because the only thing in it is a spider, but in the bottom cabinet, all the way on the left hand side, is a health crystal. Before you take it there is a spider to kill, after killing it you have to kick the door open to get the crystal. Open the door and save the guy being chased by... you guessed it, a vamp. But don't leave just yet because another vamp is coming for the same guy. Beat that vamp then talk to the man and he will give you a holy water vail. After that go around the corner and turn on the switch to activate the crane, yep... you have to jump onto the crane and ride it across. If that is too hard you can try the boxes, but I wouldn't recommend it because there is a very big chance that you will fall in the water. When you activate the switch run around to the left then up and to the left again. Hit the boards in your way by just running into them, then jump to the the crane and it should take you across. If at first you don't succed try, try again! In this level you have to battle monsters and icky spiders! When you first walk in and down the stairs, there is an elixer and a hellfire refiller for your gun. When you get to the spiders nest you battle them, then blast the web with the gun Xander gave you. After you torch the web there are two skelotens. Here is where my title kicks in. At the end of the hall is a big bowl. Walk up to it and Buffy will say sinders and ash. Take out your gun(make sure it is full, if not get it refilled)and light the bowl which will open the door on the right hand side. At the 'Extras' menu, enter Y, Y, White, Black, Black, Y, Y, Y, Y, Y, White, Black. | [Sent by CidHighwind]
WOODEN STAKE: the best choice of weaponry in the early stages of the game. It doesn't do much damage until an enemy's health is totally gone, but it's quick and accurate. It can also be thrown froma distance. CROSSBOW: a gift from Giles in the Spanish MIssion level, it's excellent for death-from-above attacks. Standing on rooftops, you hold the advantage! In several levels, you can "snipe" vamps from rafter beams near the celing. This is a sure-fire way to clear a room before jumping down to the ground floor. HINT: the screen will pulse purple when you have a fatal shot aimed. WATER SOAKER XVS: a handy gift from Xander in the first library meeting. This should be used sparingly. It's not easy to find a Holy Water/Hellfire Font in some levels, and vials of refills don't come around often. When required to use it on barriers, just lightly tap X four times. This conserves ammo and gets the barrier down quickly. This is also used on all CONDER AND ASH ALTARS. REAPER BLADE: another gift from Giles in one of the later library meetings in the game. At first, it's just a blade, but still the most effective weapon in the entire game. Once equipped with the REAPER WING, no one can stop you! I suggest throwing the Reaper Blade as soon as an enemy comes into view. It has a 73% chance of instantly decpaitating and killing any enemies. This wepaon is especially useful in the boss fight in the Dreamers' Realm level with the Floating Islands. I won't tell you who it is, else I spoil the whole joke. VIALS: VERY useful. When you don't have a stake available and you don't have the Reaper Blade yet, go running around with a HOLY WATER VIAL or a HELLFIRE VIAL. Buffy's got a rocket-arm, so if you see a Molotav cocktail-throwing demon, stand out of harm's way and chuck that bad boy. These are usually a one-shot instant-death weapon on vampires. Hellfire is a sure-fire ranged weapon on zombies. | [Sent by Spike'sSlayer]
