Defeating the darkness in his dreamworld
When you've released the darkness in his dreamworld you need to defeat him some way to get control of him. What i did was when i interacted with the 4 strange stair thingy's the darkness was released. then i ran back and sit in a corner so i didnt get hit by his Black Hole. If you stay in the corner he only sends some beserkes. 2 atta time. just kill the beserkers till he stops attacking you. at that point walk up to him and press A to suck up the darkness. This time you control it according to the storyline.
Note: DO NOT SHOOT AT HIM, he only gets stronger if you do. just keep killing his beserkers and now and then cap a bullet in his body to make him active again, cuz he tends to do nothing when sitting in the corner. show your face once a while. |

To defeat the Darkness in the castle (after you have blown open the gate), go up to every chair you see in the main room. Each chair will prompt you to activate it. Note: This does give away your Darkness powers for the time being. After the Darkness appears as a red/evil Jackie, put any guns away so that just your hands are out. This will stop his attacks. Then, walk up to him without any guns out, and a prompt should appear to "Accept Him". The fight will then be over.
Easy Bringing People Together achievement
Go to the last level at Paulie's mansion. Once you get to the point where you are inside the mansion, use your Black Holes repeatedly and hide in the darkness to regain your energy. You should get the achievement easily.
When you get to Dutch Oven Harry's place, talk to Roach. Do not shoot at him until he starts shooting.
Easy Romantic achievement
Simply wait until you kiss Jenny during the movie, then look over at her to get the "Get up and leave" option. You do not have to watch the entire movie.
About three hours into the game, after you pass the cold storage part, you will end up in a hallway with a lot of doors you can open. The middle door will have some computers and an enemy that never heard the gunfight because he is watching a television with some headphones. Kill him and the television will be yours to use. The option to change the channel will be given to you. Change the channel and some music videos and cartoons will pass. Wait a few seconds to see what is coming on next. There will be one with some cheesy music and words, and white lines coming out. This is actually a movie from 1955 called The Man With The Golden Arm starring Frank Sinatra. You can watch the entire movie on this television.

Find Jimmy the Grape in the Canal Street Station. Talk to him to activate the objective. Pete's in a nondescript apartment building down Grinder's Lane. It has a small parking lot outside. Pete's inside room 261. Break in and handle the enemys. Grab the Fireman Outfit.
Capture 50 flags in a CTF match.
Capture 20 flags in a CTF match.
Unlock 25 collectables.
Find a peaceful solution. At least momentarily.
Dial 555-5664 at nearest train station.
Kill 30 enemies using Darkness Guns.
Kill 7 enemies within 15 seconds.
Acquire Creeping Dark.
Take enough damage without dying within a multiplayer match.
Help those in need.
Be on the winning side in 20 multiplayer matches.
Acquire Darkness Guns.
Be on the winning side in a multiplayer match in any of the multiplayer modes.
Complete the second part of the game.
When you are about to give up the Darkness guns and extract the Darkness, look at the Demon in the middle. Look behind him in the bright light and you should see Jenny.

Keeping the zombie soldiers dead
When you are in the "Otherworld" (you will go there after you die the first and second time), the Germans soldiers almost always get back up after you kill them. The only way to make sure they remain dead is to devour their hearts.
The following is an easy way to keep the zombies dead when you die. Kill them with the demon arm, and throw them off the ledge. Note: This only works outside. If you throw them off the ledge inside a building, they will not die. Instead, they will follow you up to the level you are on. You can also devour their hearts to keep them dead.
Perform a melee kill for the first time.
Complete game on hard setting.
Legendary Executioner (20)
Kill 50 enemies using execution moves.
Summon 50 Darklings.
Find Dana Cutrone in Canal Street Station. Talk to her to activate an objective. You have to get her keys back from her boyfriend. Once in the apartment you'll find the Lumberjack Outfit . the room along with collectibles #4, 40 and 90.
Be on the winning side in 100 multiplayer matches.
Be on the winning side in 5 multiplayer matches.
Claim 20 Killing Streaks in multiplayer.
Acquire Demon Arm.
Achieve maximum Darkness level.
Capture a flag in a CTF match.
Unlock a collectable for the first time.
In Chinatown, there is a flashing object near the Darkling portal. Shatter the glass and grab the Potato Sack Outfit. Sitting against alley wall near metro exit.
Kill 30 enemies using Demon Arm.
Kill the workers in the tunnel.
At City Hall Station enter the train to grab the Roadworker Outfit.
Kill 15 enemies using Creeping Dark.
Real guys stick around for their ladies.
When you finally reach Jenny's new appartment she's gonna ask to watch TV with her. stay on the sofa for a while till Jenny starts to kiss you, which could take several minutes. When the 2 of you are done kissing you'll get a message that you've just unlocked the Romantic achievement. |

Chances are, you've overlooked a phone number or two without even knowing it as you ripped out a goon's heart. When uve arrived with the boat on Pauly's mansion kill all people asap. then eat their hards to keep the darkness's shield up. once upstairs take out al the MAC lights shining from the mansion. once you've done that go and sit behind a corner and take control of your 'snake'. Kill most of the people with stealth kills. when the garden is almost empty rush to the front door.The enemy's keep spawning, so when its clear really run as hard as you can. ( depends on diffeculty how fast u must run ). once you reach the door you'll get a movie where the darkness freaks out. more powerfull then ever. after that make your way up the lighthouse and finish your dear uncle pauly ;. then sit back and enjoy. |
