Complete the following achievements to unlock Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

Easy kills

When pressing X rapidly you will perform a four to five-hit combo. Press X slowly enough to jab, but not fast enough to trigger the combo. This will cause the thug to fall into a repeating animation and you can continue with single strikes until they are dead.

Fists of Death Mode

Beat the game to unlock "Fists of Death Mode". In this mode, you can defeat enemies in one hit.

Level and Lives Select

Go to the main menu. Hold down (A) + (B) on controller 2 while selecting Options. You can now select how many lives you start with (up to 9), choose your starting stage, and play at the Very Easy and Mania difficulty levels.

No damage from enemy throws

To avoid any damage when being thrown by an enemy, press and hold UP and JUMP from the moment your enemy throws you until you hit the ground. Your character will land on their feet sustaining no damage.

Same Character in 2 Player

At the title screen hold Right and B on Controller 1 and hold Left and A on Controller 2. Press C on Controller 2 with everything else still held down. Now both players can be the same person in 2 Player.
