Launch 'Pets LIVE' and press 'My Team' (don't press 'Recruit'). Under 'Team Code' enter 'pets', so the message 'Uh-oh: Unable to find anyone with that team code' appears on screen. Then enter CYY5V. Now go to 'Home', 'My Profile', and finally 'Skill' and you will notice that you have another 50 defense points.
A good strategy is to purchase habitats. Although they are expensive they pay you back soon and they are a great way to get money when you are off the game.
