Playthrough Strategy Tips
Like most base building games, you have a series of main missions that can be accessed at any time by tapping the button at the bottom left corner of the screen. You should always be working towards the main mission as they will lead you down the general progression route for your base, ensuring that it stays up-to-date with all of the latest upgrades appropriate for your level. If you're ever unsure of what to do next, simply take a look at your main missions and see what your next objective is. Not only do they help your base, but completing them rewards you with resources that you can use towards more expansion!
If you follow the main missions, you will build several training facilities that let you create combat troops. In this game, there is power in numbers so you can get through most conflicts by having more troops than the enemy, and that's why it's important to always be training troops. Training new units is a timely affair and in many cases takes longer than even building new facilities, so you always want new troops to be in the queue before you leave the game for a period of time.
Upon leveling up to the next rank, your commander will gain skill points that they can use to gain passive bonuses. There are three trees in the skill tree: war, economy, and balance. War skills are focused on combat bonuses, like troops dealing more damage to certain units, and even gives them special active skills like Emergency Recall, which brings all marching troops back to base immediately. Learn these skills if you like to fight other players or take out threats a lot! Economy skills are focused on the logistics of your base. Level these skills up if you want your production facilities to work faster, for timers to shorten, and for better infrastructure overall. Balance skills are the in-between that are more focused on utility than anything else. These skills often let you take down threats on the world map easier, and they will help with build times in your base. For a balanced commander, you should try to put an equal amount of points in all of the trees.
Whenever you complete a special mission and level up, you may be rewarded with consumable items in your backpack. These items offer useful things, like a certain amount of a resource, timer speed ups, and other helpful utilities. These items can be used at any time, so make sure to check in your backpack to see if you have any goodies waiting for you! More Cheats, Tips, Secrets & Walkthroughs
