Easy "Dark and Troubled" achievement
Obtain the cursed ring on the table upstairs in Andvari's workshop in Chapter 3. When you equip the ring, you will not be able to talk to any other human. The cursed status will appear in any saved game file you load, and can only be broken by giving the ring away to Fremont the bridge troll or Heime. To earn the achievement easily, have a saved game file with you in front of the door to the final battle.
