Easy win at Auto Club and Michigan
Max out your car(s) performance. While going down the backstrectch, press [Boost] until you are either out of boost or are at before the turn. You must slow down going into the turn because the tires will not grip unless they are new just off of pitroad. If you keep this up for the entire race, the pack will never be able to catch you and you will win those races easily. Easy Win at Talladega and Daytona
There are two ways of doing this.
You can draft another car and bumpdraft them. When on straights, press [Boost] to pull away from the pack. You must keep steady when using the boost; if you do not, the car in front of you will spin. To win you must boost around the car in front of you out of turn 4. You will then win the race easily.
Upgrade you car(s) to their maximum performance. Every time you go down the backstretch, hit the boost until it is gone. Do this in every lap and you will pull away from the pack and they can never get you. During offline races there is a thing called "Focus". When online, the "Focus" becomes a "Rolling Pitstop" and will not slow you down. It is used to keep everybody on the track and not on pitroad making repairs. Note that the "Rolling Pitstop" can only be used when the wrench it lights up on the farthest left-hand side of the power-up meter. Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation 3 trophy rewards.
